Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has been making headlines recently due to the finalisation of her divorce from Brad Pitt, following an eight-year-long legal battle.
Following her divorce, actress Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, attending the event alongside her daughter Zahara.
As she walked down the red carpet, the actress looked stunning in a silver-brass dress by Alexander McQueen, complemented by silver Messika jewelry.
Accompanying her mother, Zahara looked equally beautiful in a custom white gown, marking her debut on the Golden Globes red carpet. The pair shared a heartfelt moment, holding each other as they posed for photos.
Zahara is one of Angelina's six children, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Their children include Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
Angelina Jolie was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in Maria, but she lost the award to Fernanda Torres for I’m Still Here.
On how she is different from Maria in real life, Angelina recently mentioned, "I think I’ve built a life very full, separate from being an artist, and she [Maria] wasn’t able to. So if it was all gone tomorrow and I was just a mom and I was just, you know, working in the field, I would be very happy."
But, playing Maria, she said, reminded her what she loves about acting. She said, "She reminded me how much I really do love, ‘cause I don’t love all of that, but I love being an artist. And it’s a great pleasure and privilege to be one and to communicate with an audience. And I do love it, and I missed it."
Angelina filed for divorce following an infamous altercation on a plane, where she alleged that Brad became abusive toward her and their children. Since then, the two have been embroiled in ongoing court battles.
