The fifth phase of elections witnessed just over 60 per cent polling across 49 constituencies in six states and two Union territories.

As many as 14 of Uttar Pradesh's 80 Lok Sabha seats will vote in the sixth round of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections on May 25. Uttar Pradesh, which has the highest representation in the 543-member Lok Sabha, is the only state, along with West Bengal (42 seats) and Bihar (40) to hold polling in all the phases.

Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Phulpur, Allahabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Shrawasti, Domariyaganj, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Lalganj, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Machhlishahr and Bhadohi constituencies are going to polls in Phase 6.

The state is witnessing a direct contest between the BJP-led ruling NDA, Congress-led opposition INDIA, and the BSP.
