Modi 3.0 Cabinet: Complete list of ministers and their portfolios

The Modi government has allocated portfolios to the 71 ministers who took oath along with the Prime Minister on Sunday

Modi government has retained the big 4 portfolios of home, finance, defence and external affairs.

Union home minister Amit Shah, external affairs minister S Jaishankar, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and defence minister Rajnath Singh will retain their respective portfolios in the Modi 3.0 government, with BJP keeping all the big four cabinet berths with itself.

Additionally, allies like TDP, JD(U), LJP (RV) and JD(S) have been given plum portfolios in the new Cabinet. TDP's Ram Mohan Naidu will be the new civil aviation minister, JD(U)'s Lalan Singh has been given Panchayati Raj ministry and Chirag Paswan will take charge of the food processing industries. JD(S)' HD Kumaraswamy will be the new minister of heavy industries as well as minister of steel.

The long-awaited portfolio allocation, which follows the first Cabinet meeting of the new Modi government, signals continuity as the NDA 3.0 under PM Modi seeks to carry on the growth momentum and synergy in its third straight term at the Centre.
