As part of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Election Commission of India (ECI) introduced a "Myth vs. Reality Register" on Tuesday in an effort to stop the dissemination of false information and protect the integrity of the electoral process.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, inaugurated a new platform at Nirvachan Sadan, New Delhi. The platform, accessible at https://mythvsreality.eci.gov.in/, aims to provide credible and authenticated election-related information conveniently.

According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), the "Myth vs Reality Register" will feature a continuously updated factual matrix, including debunked misinformation and fresh FAQs.
