India ready to help if Pakistan unable to combat terror: Rajnath Singh

Defence minister Rajnath Singh has said that India is ready to help Pakistan combat terror if the neighbouring country feels that it cannot do it alone.

In glimpses from an exclusive podcast shared by ANI on X, Rajnath warned that Pakistan will have to suffer the consequences of its actions in case it tries to destabilise India using terror as a tool.

The defence minister added that Pakistan must rein in terror emanating from its soil, adding that India is ready to offer its support if needed.

"If Pakistan is trying to destabilise India with the help of terrorism, then it will have to face the consequences. If Pakistan feels incapable [to curb terror], India is ready to cooperate to stop terrorism," Rajnath said.
