Ambala Cantt Assembly Election Results: Anil Vij leads, BJP surges ahead in Haryana

The six-time legislator is confident that he will sail through easily to victory. According to early trend, the BJP leader is trailing behind Congress' Parvinder Pal Pari.

According to the 2011 India census, Ambala Cantonment had a population of 55,370, with males making up 61% and females 39%. Ambala Cantt. is one of the 90 assembly constituencies in Haryana and falls under the General category.

Current counting trends favour Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara. Chitra Sarwara has polled 7552 votes so far and is currently leading over Anil Vij of BJP,who has polled 6353 votes.

Chitra was the runner-up in Ambala Cantt during the 2019 assembly election, having contested against Anil Vij as an independent candidate then. In 2019, Vij received 64,571 votes while Chitra garnered 44,406 votes, a margin of 20,165.
