The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clear warning about a fake notice being shared on social media, claiming that the Class 10 results will be announced on 6 May 2025. The board has confirmed that this notice is not official and no date has been declared yet for the release of the Class 10 and Class 12 results.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), CBSE clarified, “A letter dated 2nd May 2025 is being circulated on social media. This letter is FAKE. It has not been issued by CBSE. No official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of Class X/XII 2025 results.”
Every year, CBSE releases both Class 10 and Class 12 results around mid-May. In 2024, the results were declared on 13 May, while in 2023, they were released on 12 May. Based on this pattern, it is likely that the results for the current academic year will be announced around the same time. However, students should wait for the official update from the board.
Students and parents are advised to check only the official CBSE websites:

Any update regarding the result date and time will be made available on these platforms.
This year, nearly 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board exams. Of these, around 24.12 lakh were from Class 10 and more than 17.88 lakh were from Class 12.
