Noida airport nears completion: Ground transport to be ready soon, terminal building in final phase

The Ground Transportation Centre, spread across 20 acres, will serve as Noida International Airport's main hub for all ground-level transport services. As work on the Noida International Airport nears completion, officials announced that the Ground Transportation Centre (GTC), a key facility being developed between the two terminals, will be ready ahead of the airport’s commercial launch at the end of 2025.

The GTC, spread across 20 acres, will serve as the airport’s main hub for all ground-level transport services. It is being developed on the lines of London’s Heathrow and Germany’s Frankfurt airports, said Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority’s (Yeida) CEO R K Singh.

“In its first phase, it will be able to handle around 1,200 vehicles, including cabs, taxis, and buses, all located within walking distance of the terminal,” R K Singh was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying.
