Delhi-NCR on yellow alert: IMD predicts more rain in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said the wet spell in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad will continue for a few more days, and has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR.

Delhi-NCR rains

Delhi-NCR received respite from sticky weather on Tuesday morning as heavy rain and gusty winds lashed the region, bringing relief from the recent hot and humid conditions. While the rain offered pleasant weather, it also led to traffic congestion and waterlogging in several parts of Delhi and surrounding areas.

According to a report by The Economic Times, in its latest weather update, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said the wet spell will continue for a few more days, and has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR.

Light rainfall on radar: IMD

IMD scientist Naresh Kumar said light rainfall had been anticipated over the past few days, adding that more showers are likely tomorrow.
