The group presented a cheque for Rs 1,75,000 to Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar at his office on Tuesday. The funds will be channelled through the ‘Tera Hi Tera’ mission, an initiative run by the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Sewa Society, which is actively working on the ground in Punjab. The representatives receiving the donation on behalf of the mission were Jaspreet Kaur and Gurvinder Happy.

According to a report by HT, Mayor Babla expressed profound concern for those affected, stating, “In these difficult times, it is our collective responsibility to stand with our brothers and sisters in Punjab. This contribution is a small step toward providing relief and assistance to them.” She further made a public appeal, urging residents to offer support in any capacity they can.
