Lenskart Solutions Ltd reported a sharp surge in its fiscal third quarter earnings, with consolidated net profit jumping over 70 times year-on-year to Rs 131 crore, compared with Rs 1.85 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations rose 38.3 percent on-year to Rs 2,307.7 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 1,668.8 crore a year earlier, reflecting continued expansion in its eyewear retail and online businesses.

The company reported an exceptional loss of Rs 5.3 crore during the quarter. This was entirely due to expenses related to the fresh issue of shares through its IPO, amounting to Rs 5.3 crore.

Total expenses for the Gurugram-based firm increased 28 percent to Rs 2,162.6 crore in the quarter ended December, up from Rs 1,690.4 crore a year ago and Rs 1,980.3 crore a quarter ago.

Lenskart said its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 1.9x, with margins expanding from 14.5 percent to 20.0 percent YoY in Q3, supported by operating leverage and structurally improving unit economics as scale increases.

The company conducted 6.3 million eye tests in Q3, up 54 percent YoY. India eye tests grew over 60 percent YoY to 5.5 million, with 49 percent of these being first eye exams.

Lenskart added as many as 195 net new stores in Q3 FY26, compared to 81 in the year-ago period, including 169 in India and 26 in International markets.

"Every incremental rupee and dollar we earn, a larger share flows to EBITDA. In Q2, we said we are entering a compounding phase. Q3 validates that decisively. Revenue grew 37.4 percent YoY. EBITDA grew 90.6 percent, more than twice the rate of revenue, with margins expanding from 14.5 percent to 20.0 percent. PAT tripled YoY. This is not cost-cutting. This is structural operating leverage," CEO Peeyush Bansal said in a letter to shareholders.

Shares of Lenskart Solutions ended at Rs 473 apiece ahead of the results announcement, down 0.5 percent for the day. Since its listing in November 2025, the stock has gained 17.3 percent.

India’s air pollution is adding another threat to company profits along with impacts on public health, with a sweep of companies pointing to the effects of pollution-related disruptions in the country’s most recent earnings season.

Executives and analysts focused on sectors from developers to retail have flagged negative consequences after several cities, including Delhi and Mumbai, grappled with construction halts and reduced footfall over November and December.

“It’s not unreasonable to think of it as being a meaningful drag on the economy,” said David Smith, senior investment director at Aberdeen Investments, which holds Indian equities. The issue can spread across “lost production days for real estate and manufacturing, lost retail demand, sick days and the broader cost of healthcare,” he said.

The term “air pollution” was mentioned in earnings releases, analyst calls or presentations of BSE AllCap Index members 988 times in 2025, the largest number of instances since 2021, according to a Bloomberg analysis. References included discussion of pollution control measures, as well as the impacts of poor air quality.

India’s pollution burden is among the highest in the world, contributing to more than a million annual deaths in the country’s north, the World Bank Group said in a report last year. In recent weeks, department store chain Shoppers Stop Ltd. said air pollution contributed to a 69% decline in net profit in the December quarter from the same period a year earlier, while quick commerce firm Eternal Ltd. pointed to extended pollution-related restrictions as a factor that slowed store construction and fit-outs.

Investors now need to factor in the impacts of “the Smog Season from Oct-Jan, which could be a revenue headwind for shopping malls and high street retailers,” ICICI Securities Ltd. analysts including Manoj Menon wrote in a Jan. 25 note.

The impact of poor air quality will also “soon affect real estate and thus it can be one of the major risks of investing in Delhi property,” Omaxe Ltd., a property developer, said in a blog post. In Delhi NCR region, Omaxe is focusing on building malls and air conditioned shopping spaces — with inbuilt air purifiers — over open-air high streets to limit the impact of smog.

Pollution restrictions have impacted construction spending in the December quarter for the past four years for real estate developer DLF Ltd., Managing Director Ashok Kumar Tyagi said in an earnings call last month.

Titan Company on February 10 reported a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/titan-q3-results-net-profit-rises-61-to-rs-1-684-crore-on-high-gold-prices-revenue-up-43-13820955.html">consolidated net profit of Rs 1,684 crore </a>for the October-December quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. This marks a 61 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 1,047 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 43 percent YoY to Rs 25,416 crore during the quarter under review, from Rs 17,740 crore in the same period last year.

The company said that its jewellery business recorded exceptional growth, showcasing resilience in a high gold environment. It also reported healthy growth in other consumer businesses, which powered overall results.

Jewellery portfolio grew 42 percent YoY to Rs 22,517 crore (excluding bullion and digi-gold soles) driven by blockbuster festive collections, impactful brand campaigns and powerful exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand amid high gold prices, the company said.

Driven by festive gifting and consumer preference for analog timepieces, Titan's watches portfolio grew 14 percent to Rs 1,295 crore.
<h3><strong>Nomura on Titan:</strong></h3>
Nomura kept a ‘Buy’ call on Titan shares, with a target price of Rs 4,500 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 5 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 4,269.1 apiece.

The international brokerage said that the company delivered strong overall consolidated revenue and EBITDA growth of 42 percent and 41 percent YoY. It added that the company’s jewellery segment posted a strong performance on both sales and margins.

Nomura added that Titan’s watches segment saw continued strong momentum in analog, while wearables remained impacted.
<h3><strong>CLSA on Titan:</strong></h3>
CLSA kept an ‘Outperform’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,369 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 2 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

The international brokerage said that the company’s standalone sales grew 40 percent YoY, while jewellery’s standalone ales rose 42 percent YoY. It said that jewellery business’ margin remained largely in-line with market expectations.

Absolute jewellery business EBIT was 18 percent ahead of estimates, CLSA added.
<h3><strong>Motilal Oswal on Titan:</strong></h3>
Motilal Oswal said that Titan reported stellar growth, beating its estimates on profitability. “The growth was driven by festive collections, impactful brand campaigns, and effective exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand despite high gold prices,” it said.

“Tanishq’s attractive exchange program (launched in Sep’25) drove sizeable consumer traction and was well supported by exhibitions/onground launches of high-value collections, delivering substantial growth for the portfolio,” it added.

UBS said that the company's stellar Q3 earnings beat expectations by wide margin. It kept a 'Buy' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 5,000 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 17 percent from the stock's previous closing price.

Goldman Sachs meanwhile said that the company delivered strong broad-based beat on elevated expectations. It however awaits management commentary on sustainability of growth.

Macquarie kept its 'Outperform' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,450 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 4 percent. It said that demand scenario clarity post recent volatility in gold prices, jewellery margin outlook are key monitorables.

Engineering and defence solutions provider Axiscades on February 10 reported an 87.2 percent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 28 crore in the December quarter of FY26, supported by higher revenues.

It registered a net profit of Rs 15 crore in the October-December period of the preceding 2024-25 financial year, the company said in a statement.

The company's revenue from operations also rose to Rs 343 crore in the latest third quarter from Rs 275 crore a year ago, posting a year-on-year fall of over 25 percent.

Defence revenue grew by 50 percent, aerospace revenue grew by 28 percent, and revenues from ESAI (Electronics, Semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence) vertical expanded by 18 percent, compared to same period of previous year.
