Polunin Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund, owned by London-based investment management firm Polunin Capital Partners, pared more than half a percent stake in Capacite Infraprojects, the construction company, via open market transactions on March 16.

Capacite Infraprojects shares were down 4.5 percent to Rs 180.28 on the National Stock Exchange, extending downtrend for fourth consecutive session.

Polunin Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund, the alternate investment fund, sold 4.3 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.51 percent of paid-up equity) at Rs 182.74 per share, valued at Rs 7.9 crore.

Polunin Capital Partners held 1.61 percent shareholding in Capacite Infraprojects as of December 2025.

The brisk action was also seen in Vibhor Steel Tubes, which shares slipped 5.4 percent to Rs 107.93 after a rally in past three sessions. Jindal Pipes sold 1 lakh shares (0.52 percent stake) in Vibhor at Rs 107.19 per share, amounting to Rs 1.07 crore.

As of December 2025, Jindal Pipes held 1.27 percent shareholding in Vibhor Steel Tubes.

Meanwhile, promoter Prabhat Sethia sold further 8.18 crore shares (0.98 percent stake) in Filatex Fashions, the textile company, for Rs 1.47 crore. The selling price was Rs 0.18 per share.

Prabhat Sethia sold 1.57 percent stake in the company in current month so far.

Matrix Geo Solutions was also in focus, rising sharply by 6 percent to Rs 78.95 amid high volumes after hitting all-time low during the day. Atul Goel Family Trust has acquired 2.4 lakh shares (1.65 percent stake) in the geospatial surveying &amp;amp; mapping services provider at Rs 71.1 per share for Rs 1.7 crore from Shine Star Build Cap.

In fact, Shine Star Build Cap exited Matrix Geo Solutions.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) shares extended their fall for the third straight trading session on Monday, declining about 4 percent during the period.

The stock of the state-owned oil and gas producer has declined in seven out of the 10 trading sessions in March so far, even as global crude benchmark Brent crude has stayed above the $100 per barrel mark.

Crude oil prices in the international market have surged by more than 40 percent in the last 15 days amid the ongoing West Asia conflict, while the ONGC shares have declined nearly 8 percent in the same period.

Typically, upstream oil producers such as ONGC benefit from higher crude prices as they sell crude oil and oil-linked gas. When global oil prices rise, their realisations improve, unlike downstream oil marketing companies that face pressure on margins due to higher input costs.

India, which depends heavily on crude oil imports to meet its fuel and energy needs, remains exposed to disruptions in the global oil market. In such scenarios, the upstream segment is generally the main beneficiary, as higher crude prices and a weakening rupee improve realisations for crude oil and oil-linked gas.

However, analysts say the recent fall in ONGC shares despite elevated oil prices reflects policy-related factors and broader market sentiment.

Santosh Meena, Head of Research at Swastika Investmart, said the decline in the stock despite Brent trading around $104–$106 per barrel is largely due to a policy-driven disconnect.

While high oil prices normally boost upstream revenues, the Indian government’s windfall tax (SAED) and natural gas price caps on legacy fields effectively siphon off ‘supernormal’ profits, preventing the company from fully realising the global price surge,&quot; he said.

Meena added that geopolitical tensions have also weighed on investor sentiment.

&quot;Furthermore, the escalation of the US-Iran conflict in early March 2026 has triggered massive FII outflows and a ‘risk-off’ sentiment across the Nifty, dragging down large-cap stocks like ONGC as investors book profits near the Rs 293 peak. Technically, the stock has slipped into a short-term consolidation phase, trading below its 20-day and 50-day moving averages, which has prompted further selling even as long-term support remains intact,&quot; he said.

The conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran has also disrupted global energy supply chains. The developments have led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, production cuts at oil fields in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and the shutdown of the Ras Laffan LNG liquefaction plant in Qatar as well as the Ras Tanura refinery operated by Saudi Aramco.

These disruptions have pushed global crude prices higher.

Brokerage firm HDFC Securities said elevated crude prices support higher realisations for the upstream segment, provided the government does not impose additional taxes.

&quot;For every $5 per barrel increase in Brent crude price above $70 per barrel, ONGC and Oil India’s standalone annual EPS rises by about 14 percent and 9 percent respectively,&quot; the brokerage said in a report, adding that it prefers Oil India over ONGC due to stronger production growth compared with ONGC’s declining output.

Crude oil prices have remained above $100 per barrel despite signals from US President Donald Trump that talks were underway to form a coalition aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz, said Manav Modi, analyst – commodities at Motilal Oswal Financial Services.

On a year-to-date basis, ONGC shares have risen about 9.46 percent, according to data from BSE Analytics. Over the past one year, the stock has gained around 15.5 percent.

The said contract is to be executed in 23 months from the date of issuance of Notification of Award

The project encompasses the complete turnkey EPC execution of the 400/220 kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) substation at Saswad, Pune, including the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the substation along with all associated transmission lines — covering civil, supply and ETC (Erection, Testing &amp;amp; Commissioning) components.

On March 10, the company signed a collaboration agreement with National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), a sovereign-linked alternative asset manager anchored by the Government of India and AnantGrid Private Limited (Anantgrid), a power transmission developer promoted by NIIF.

In the previous trading session, the share closed at Rs 139.95, down Rs 5.35, or 3.68 percent.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has issued Notification of Award (NOA) to the consortium of SEAMEC and Supreme Hydro for hiring of operation &amp;amp; maintenance (O&amp;amp;M) services for ONGC owned MSV &quot;Samudra Sevak&quot; for 2026-2028.

The tenure is for 738 days and will commence within 60 days from the date of the NOA.

In the month of February, the company’s vessel, SEAMEC PRINCESS, has been charter-hired by Supreme Offshore Construction &amp;amp; Technical Services for operations in ONGC’s oilfields on the west coast of India. The total value of the contract is approximately US$ 0.46 million.

Ramky Infrastructure

The company has announced the execution of a Concession Agreement between the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and its subsidiary Maha Integrated Life Sciences City (MILeS City) for the development of a High-Tech Pharmaceutical Park at the Dighi Port Industrial Area in Raigad, Maharashtra.

The project will be implemented on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) model, with an estimated project cost of Rs 3,000 crore, including the operating income to be generated during the 90-year operation period.

Bajel Projects

The company has an EPC contract worth over Rs 700 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. (MSETCL) for the establishment of a 400/220 kV AIS substation at Saswad, Pune, along with its associated transmission lines.

Voltas

The Assistant Commissioner of State Tax has initiated inspection proceedings at the company's office premises in Mumbai on March 12, in respect of GST records pertaining to Maharashtra. The proceedings are ongoing, and the company is fully cooperating with the GST authorities.

At present, there is no material impact on the financials, operations, or other activities of the company due to the aforesaid proceedings.

Additionally, Gyan Shanker Pandey has resigned from the position of Head – Digital, effective March 13, to pursue opportunities outside of Voltas.

JK Lakshmi Cement

The company has been declared the preferred bidder for the mining lease of the New Umrangso limestone block in Assam. The limestone block spans an area of 200 hectares.

GMR Airports

The company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Delhi International Airport (DIAL), intimating that it has emerged as the selected bidder to upgrade, modernize, finance, operate, manage, and maintain Cargo Terminal 1 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

The project is based on a revenue-share payment model to DIAL for an initial period of up to 2036, with an estimated revenue share of Rs 340 crore in the first full year of operations.

Meanwhile, passenger traffic in February increased by 0.3 percent YoY to 1.02 crore passengers, while aircraft movements rose by 1.8 percent to 60,505 during the same period.

Seamec

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has issued a Notification of Award to the consortium of Seamec and Supreme Hydro Pvt. Ltd. for the hiring of operation &amp;amp; maintenance (O&amp;amp;M) services for ONGC-owned MSV &quot;Samudra Sevak&quot; for 2026–2028.

The total value of the order will be around Rs 410.74 crore.

InterGlobe Aviation

The company has introduced a fuel charge on domestic and international routes, effective March 14, due to the significant surge in fuel prices following ongoing geopolitical issues in the Middle East. IATA’s Jet Fuel Monitor indicates over an 85% increase in fuel prices for the region.

Hindalco Industries

In a clarification note addressing media reports claiming Hindalco halted aluminium product sales amid the Iran war, the company stated that it has not halted operations of its aluminium extrusions business.

The aluminium extrusions segment constitutes a small portion of Hindalco’s production capacity, and the potential impact is currently limited to less than 0.1% of the company’s overall operations. All other downstream and upstream operations, including primary aluminium, continue to operate normally, supported by captive power and alternate energy arrangements.

Britannia Industries

Members of the company have approved the appointment of Rakshit Hargave as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company for a term of five years, effective December 15.

Kingsman Wealth Management has bought 80,400 equity shares (equivalent to 0.74 percent of paid-up equity) in Biopol Chemicals at Rs 96.99 per share, while D V Investments sold 78,000 shares at Rs 97 per share.

Kingsman Wealth Management, which already held a 5.55 percent stake (6 lakh shares) in Biopol as of February 12, also picked up a 1.21 percent stake on March 12.

SEPC

Promoter Mark AB Welfare Trust sold a further 1.27 crore equity shares (0.65 percent stake) in SEPC at Rs 5.31 per share for Rs 6.76 crore.

In the previous session, SEPC promoters offloaded 0.48 percent (85 lakh shares).
