Amber Enterprises and DAM Capital had released their respective Q2 results in the post-market hours of November 6, while Venky's announced its earnings for the quarter under review earlier in the morning today.

Amber Enterprises Q2 Results:

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/amberenterprisesindialimited/AEI01">Amber Enterprises</a> reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 32.86 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2026, as against a net profit of Rs 19.20 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile fell more than 2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,647 crore in Q2 FY26, from Rs 1,685 crore in Q2 FY25. Amber Enterprises reported a 19 percent YoY decline in its operating EBITDA to Rs 98 crore during the quarter under review.

"The RAC industry got impacted by non-conducive weather and deferment of purchase inbetween announcement &amp; implementation of GST rate reduction, despite the challenges we delivered flattish Revenue of ₹ 1,647 Cr, and Operating EBITDA of ₹ 98 Cr, reflecting decline of 19% YoY and Loss after tax of ₹ 32 Cr in Q2FY26. The PAT during the period got further impacted by the higher financing cost owing to Power-One stake purchase &amp; elevated inventory levels; and share of loss of JVs. On way forward, inventories are getting to the normalised levels,” said Amber Enterprises MD Daljit Singh.

Jefferies said that the company missed earnings estimates on weakness in the consumer durables segment, led by RAC (room air-conditioners).

The shares of the company plunged 14 percent to trade at Rs 6,736.50 apiece, the lowest level seen by the stock in more than four months.

Venky’s Q2 Results:

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/venkys/V03">Venky’s (India)</a> reported a net loss of Rs 26.5 crore in the second quarter of FY26, as against a net profit of Rs 7.76 crore reported in the same period of the previous financial year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile increased 3 percent YoY to Rs 800.87 crore during the quarter under review.

The firm said that the Poultry and Poultry Products segment continued to face challenges. Its performance was negatively impacted due to lower realisations from the sale of day-old chicks and grown-up birds. Animal Health Products segment's performance has been satisfactory, it added, while saying that oilseed segment continued to show steady improvement.

The shares of the company sharply plunged nearly 9 percent to trade at Rs 1,391.20 apiece.

DAM Capital Q2 Results:

This marks a whopping 141 percent YoY surge from the Rs 21.67 crore net profit reported in the same period of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose over 69 percent YoY to Rs 107.05 crore. DAM Capital said its best-ever quarterly performance in Q2 FY26 was driven by a revival in India’s capital markets and strong execution across products. “During the quarter, the firm successfully completed 12 transactions including 9 Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), 2 Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs), 1 Preferential Issue, while adding 3 new IPO mandates,” it said.

“Q2 FY26 was a landmark quarter for DAM Capital— our highest-ever performance—as capital market activity rebounded. The stock jumped to Rs 933.10 per share on Friday. The company had released its results in the post-market hours of November 6 (Thursday).

LIC Q2 Results:

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on November 6 reported a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/lic-q2-results-net-profit-rises-32-to-rs-10-053-crore-net-premium-income-up-5-5-13657537.html">standalone net profit</a> of Rs 10,053.39 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2026. This marks a 32 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise from the Rs 7,620.86 crore net profit reported in the same period last year.

The firm's net premium income meanwhile grew 5.5 percent YoY to Rs 1.26 lakh crore during the quarter under review. Solvency ratio increased to 2.13 percent from 1.98 percent in the year-ago period, while asset quality for policyholders' funds improved.

LIC's AUM increased by 3.31 percent to Rs 57.23 lakh crore.

JM Financial on LIC:

JM Financial said that LIC reported strong margins of 17.6 percent for the first half of the ongoing financial year 2026, implying 19.3 percent for Q2. This is higher than the brokerage’s estimate. “LIC has struggled on growth since Oct’24 (rolling 12 month individual APE down 11% YoY) and we expect it to benefit from the GST 2.0 tailwinds to report a strong 15%+ growth in H2,” it added.

The domestic brokerage maintained a ‘Buy’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,111 per share. This implies an upside potential of nearly 24 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

Motilal Oswal on LIC:

Motilal Oswal Financial Services noted that the firm's management expects premium growth to recover in the second half of the ongoing FY26, and its focus remains on absolute VNB growth. VNB margin expansion will be driven by the product mix shift toward non-par, cost optimization, higher contribution from high-ticket size products, and improvement in persistency, it added.

"We have kept our APE estimates unchanged. However, we have increased our VNB margin estimates by 80bp/80bp/100bp for FY26/27/28, considering the 1HFY26 performance, and slightly reduced our commission estimates, leading to ~10% rise in earnings for FY26/27/28," the domestic brokerage said.

Motilal kept a 'Buy' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,080 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 20.5 percent over the stock’s previous closing price.

HDFC Securities on LIC:

HDFC Securities said LIC beat estimates with a 3 percent YoY growth in APE, led by group business growth. VNB grew 12 percent YoY as VNB margins were reported at 17.6 percent, beating expectations driven by efficiency gains, it added.

"Traditionally focused on the mass customer segment, LICI has engineered a  shift in its product strategy towards higher sum-assured, non-PAR policies (FY25: 28% of new business). LICI derives its moats from a large agency channel while undergoing a strategic shift in its individual product proposition to align itself to the new surrender guidelines," it said.

The domestic brokerage elevated earnings estimates, while maintaining its 'Add' rating. It revised its target price for the stock to Rs 1,065 apiece, implying an upside potential of nearly 19 percent from the stock's previous closing price.

Bernstein has a 'Market-Perform' rating on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,070 per share. The international brokerage does not expect any large impact after management flagged minimal margin impact from GST cuts as it thinks volume growth and cost controls will offset impact.

Emkay has an 'Add' rating on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,100 per share. The brokerage hiked estimates for annualized premium equivalent and value of new business margin of the company by approximately 2 percent and 50 bps, respectively, to account for Q2 developments.
