The shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/automobile-truckslcvs/tatamotors/TML02">Tata Motors</a>, which now represent its CV business, jumped sharply in trade on February 11 after the company announced a strong order win for its Indonesian subsidiary.

Tata Motors shares jumped more than 5 percent to hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 497.80 apiece on Wednesday.

Tata Motors announced that its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia, has entered into an agreement for the supply of 70,000 vehicles for deployment in Indonesia. This is biggest-ever order win for the subsidiary.

The vehicles will be used to support agricultural activities and rural logistics, including farm-to-market transportation and regional goods movement across the country, the automaker said.

“Tata Motors will support with supply of 35,000 units each of the Yodha (pick-up) and the Ultra T.7 (truck), to its subsidiary PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia. The vehicles will be delivered to PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, an Indonesian state-owned enterprise, focused on modernising agricultural supply chains, empowering rural cooperatives and advancing national food security initiatives,” the company said.

Tata Motors added that through the Koperasi Desa and Kelurahan Merah Putih Project, which are two major strategic projects of Indonesia, the vehicles will also support the country’s broader nation-building efforts by strengthening rural connectivity, livelihoods and economic resilience.

Tata Motors said that its trucks and pick-ups are engineered for operating in diverse and demanding conditions, and will lower logistics costs while enabling efficient movement of goods across Indonesia. The fleet will be rolled out through agricultural cooperatives under a structured, phased delivery programme to ensure seamless integration and sustained operational impact across Indonesia, it added.

“This order reflects the continued acceptance of Indian commercial vehicles in international markets and the confidence of customers in their ability to operate reliably across diverse conditions. The Tata Yodha and the Ultra T.7 are designed for sustained performance, high uptime and efficient operating economics. Their deployment will support agricultural logistics in Indonesia by improving connectivity, enabling more efficient movement of goods across rural and regional networks. We remain committed to expanding the global footprint of Indian mobility solutions through vehicles and offerings that combine scale, reliability and sustained value creation for our customers,” said Asif Shamim, Director at PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia.
<h3><strong>Tata Motors CV share price:</strong></h3>
The shares of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle business were listed at Rs 335 apiece on the NSE on November 12. This marks a premium of more than 28.5 percent from the discovered price of Rs 260.75.

This came after the demerger of the automaker’s commercial vehicle business from its passenger vehicle segment. The shares of the passenger vehicle segment were discovered at a price of Rs 400 apiece on NSE on October 14.

The shares of the commercial vehicle business have so far rallied around 49 percent from its listing price.

The shares of textile companies extended sharp losses for the second consecutive session on February 11 after US and Bangladesh announced the conclusion of their agreement on reciprocal trade.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/textiles-readymade-apparels/pearlglobalindustries/HPF01">Pearl Global Industries</a> shares fell around 6 percent, while <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/textiles-readymade-apparels/gokaldasexports/GE05">Gokaldas Exports</a> dropped nearly 4 percent. K.P.R. Mill and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/textiles-denim/arvind/A18">Arvind</a> shares fell around 3 percent each.
<h3><strong>Why are textile stocks falling today?</strong></h3>
As part of their agreement, US committed to build a mechanism that will allow for certain textile and apparel goods from Bangladesh to receive a zero reciprocal tariff rate. "This mechanism will provide that a to-be-specified volume of apparel and textile imports from Bangladesh can enter the United States at this reduced tariff rate, but this volume shall be determined in relation to the quantity of exports of textiles, e.g. U.S. produced cotton and man-made fiber textile inputs, from the United States," a joint statement read.

According to the recently announced trade framework between US and India, the former will effectively reduce the reciprocal tariff on Indian textile exports to 18 percent from the current 50 percent. While Indian textile exporters will enjoy a lower tariff rate than current levels, they will face strong competition as Bangladeshi peers will enjoy zero reciprocal tariffs on their textile exports to the US.

The overall US tariff rate on Bangladeshi exports meanwhile has been reduced to 19 percent, slightly higher than India's 18 percent rate.

“The Agreement will provide U.S. and Bangladeshi exporters unprecedented access to each other’s respective markets.  The Agreement will build upon our longstanding economic relationship,” the two countries said in their joint statement.
<h3><strong>What lies ahead?</strong></h3>
"Investors appear to be reacting to some of the tariff exemptions given to Bangladesh. However, details remain scant and we may not see a material impact for India's large textile players," says Prerna Jhunjhunwala, VP - Lead - Textiles and Retail Sector at Elara Capital.

Jashan Arora, Director at Master Trust Group, explained that the tariff rates on Bangladesh have been reduced to 19 percent from 20 percent and compared with India’s 18 percent. This indicates that India continues to retain a marginal tariff advantage over neighbouring countries.

He however added that the US-Bangladesh trade agreement’s provision granting zero-tariff access on select textile categories could be a key beneficiary for Bangladesh and could alter the competitive dynamics.

“The market’s sharp reaction in textile stocks reflects concern around near-term revenue visibility and pricing pressure in the sector. However, India continues to hold structural advantages across scale, supply chain integration and established global buyer relationships,” the analyst explained.
<h3><strong>Is it time of sell textile stocks?</strong></h3>
According to Arora, a sudden exit from the sector is not recommended and instead investors should reassess their portfolio exposure by identifying companies with structural strengths such niche product positioning or superior cost efficiencies.

“Businesses with diversified export geographies and relatively stronger margin profiles are likely to better withstand the competitive disruptions. In the current uncertain environment for businesses, identifying differentiated pockets will be more effective than broad-based exposure to the entire sector for investors,” he said.

The US-Bangladesh news is a “sectoral inflection point”, not an “apocalypse”, Arora explained. “It will accelerate the divide between low-cost, commoditized exporters and agile, value-added, and diversified textile players. The investor's task is to identify which side of this divide their holdings—or potential investments—stand on. For the strong, this correction is an opportunity. For the weak, not so much. Discernment, not reaction, will be the key to navigating this spin cycle,” he further said.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 502 crore for Q3 FY26, marking a 35 percent YoY rise from Rs 372 crore net profit reported in Q3 FY25. The company's revenue from operations meanwhile rose more than 17 percent YoY to Rs 6,477.4 crore.

Along with the Q3 results, the company also announced an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for FY26, with February 16 as the record date.

Motilal Oswal said that the company delivered better-than-expected performance in Q3 of FY26, with its revenue beating its estimate of Rs 6,130 crore. Its EBITDA margin expanded by 110 bps to 14.9 percent, in line with estimate.

EBITDA meanwhile rose 26.8 percent to Rs 970 crore, higher than Motilal’s estimate of Rs 910 crore.

JP Morgan said that the firm reported healthy revenue growth in hospitals, with 70 bps YoY expansion in EBITDA margins and lower-than-estimated cash losses from the digital health business among key positives.

Citi said that over 12 percent YoY reduction in costs at its 24/7 business led to a 210 bps margin expansion in HealthCo segment.

Titan Company on February 10 reported a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/titan-q3-results-net-profit-rises-61-to-rs-1-684-crore-on-high-gold-prices-revenue-up-43-13820955.html">consolidated net profit of Rs 1,684 crore </a>for the October-December quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. This marks a 61 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 1,047 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 43 percent YoY to Rs 25,416 crore during the quarter under review, from Rs 17,740 crore in the same period last year.

The company said that its jewellery business recorded exceptional growth, showcasing resilience in a high gold environment. It also reported healthy growth in other consumer businesses, which powered overall results.

Jewellery portfolio grew 42 percent YoY to Rs 22,517 crore (excluding bullion and digi-gold soles) driven by blockbuster festive collections, impactful brand campaigns and powerful exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand amid high gold prices, the company said.

Driven by festive gifting and consumer preference for analog timepieces, Titan's watches portfolio grew 14 percent to Rs 1,295 crore.
<h3><strong>Nomura on Titan:</strong></h3>
Nomura kept a ‘Buy’ call on Titan shares, with a target price of Rs 4,500 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 5 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 4,269.1 apiece.

The international brokerage said that the company delivered strong overall consolidated revenue and EBITDA growth of 42 percent and 41 percent YoY. It added that the company’s jewellery segment posted a strong performance on both sales and margins.

Nomura added that Titan’s watches segment saw continued strong momentum in analog, while wearables remained impacted.
<h3><strong>CLSA on Titan:</strong></h3>
CLSA kept an ‘Outperform’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,369 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 2 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

The international brokerage said that the company’s standalone sales grew 40 percent YoY, while jewellery’s standalone ales rose 42 percent YoY. It said that jewellery business’ margin remained largely in-line with market expectations.

Absolute jewellery business EBIT was 18 percent ahead of estimates, CLSA added.
<h3><strong>Motilal Oswal on Titan:</strong></h3>
Motilal Oswal said that Titan reported stellar growth, beating its estimates on profitability. “The growth was driven by festive collections, impactful brand campaigns, and effective exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand despite high gold prices,” it said.

“Tanishq’s attractive exchange program (launched in Sep’25) drove sizeable consumer traction and was well supported by exhibitions/onground launches of high-value collections, delivering substantial growth for the portfolio,” it added.

UBS said that the company's stellar Q3 earnings beat expectations by wide margin. It kept a 'Buy' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 5,000 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 17 percent from the stock's previous closing price.

Goldman Sachs meanwhile said that the company delivered strong broad-based beat on elevated expectations. It however awaits management commentary on sustainability of growth.

Macquarie kept its 'Outperform' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,450 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 4 percent. It said that demand scenario clarity post recent volatility in gold prices, jewellery margin outlook are key monitorables.
