Bharat Forge shares settled over 4 percent higher on Thursday following reports that the company had secured an order from the Indian Army.

The company, however, denied the reports, clarifying that no contract has been signed yet.

In a statement, Bharat Forge said it had submitted a bid for the Indian Army’s Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Carbine programme for the supply of 4.25 lakh carbines in March 2023. "After rigorous trials by the Indian Army, the commercial bids were opened in July 2025. For this programme, BFL has been qualified as the L1 bidder for the supply of 60 percent of the total order. At present, the contract finalisation process is underway with the Ministry of Defence and the contract is not signed as on date," the company said.

On the National Stock Exchange, shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/castingsforgings/bharatforge/BF03">Bharat Forge</a> settled 4.23 percent higher at Rs 1,296 apiece after hitting an intraday high of Rs 1,311, up 5.44 percent. The stock opened with a gain of 2.05 percent.

Earlier, British aircraft engine maker Rolls-Royce announced the signing of a pact with Bharat Forge for the manufacturing and supply of fan blades for its Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines.

The agreement, signed at Rolls-Royce’s Dahlewitz facility near Berlin, marks an expansion of the existing collaboration between the two companies and supports the engine maker’s plan to double its supply chain sourcing from India by 2030, the company said in a statement.

The shares of EPack Prefab Technologies and Jain Resource Recycling rallied on October 23 as strong second quarter earnings boosted investor sentiment for the two newly-listed stocks.

EPack Prefab Technologies rallied 20 percent to hit the upper circuit at Rs 233.67 apiece, while Jain Resource Recycling shares jumped more than 9 percent to hit a day’s high at Rs 387.98 apiece.

EPack Prefab Technologies Q2 Results:

The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile rose around 62 percent YoY to Rs 434 crore during Q2 FY26, from Rs 268 crore in Q2 FY25. <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/metals-non-ferrous/jainresourcerecycling/JRRL">Jain Resource Recycling</a> reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 98.59 crore for Q2 FY26, marking an 88 percent YoY increase from the Rs 52.56 crore net profit reported in the same period last year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile grew 52 percent YoY to Rs 2,113.7 crore.

“Looking ahead, we remain committed to expanding our capacities, strengthening our presence across non-ferrous recycling segments, and advancing our forward integration into copper cathodes, wire rods, and busbars. In parallel, we are actively exploring new growth avenues, including strategic scrap yard acquisitions and diversification into tyre, e-waste, and solar panel recycling — all in line with our vision of fostering a circular and sustainable future,” said Jain Resource Recycling Chairman and Managing Director Kamlesh Jain.

EPack Prefab Technologies rallied 20 percent to hit the upper circuit at Rs 233.67 apiece, while Jain Resource Recycling shares jumped more than 9 percent to hit a day’s high at Rs 387.98 apiece.

EPack Prefab Technologies Q2 Results:

EPack Prefab Technologies on October 22 reported a net profit of Rs 29.5 crore for the July-September quarter of the financial year 2026. This marks a whopping 104 percent year-on-year increase from the Rs 14.43 crore net profit reported in the same period last year.

CLSA downgrades Dixon Tech shares:

CLSA downgraded Dixon Technologies to 'Outperform' from its earlier 'Buy' rating, and cut its target price for the stock to Rs 18,800 per share. CLSA cautioned that the discontinuation of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme could put pressure on the company's margins in early FY27, before the benefits of backward integration begin to flow through, CNBC-TV18 reported.

Yes Securities reiterates 'Reduce' call on Dixon Tech:

Yes Securities kept a 'Reduce' rating on the stock, with a revised target price of Rs 15,556 per share. This implies a downside potential of more than 3.5 percent from the stock’s previous closing price. The domestic brokerage noted that the firm’s revenue missed estimate by 3 percent, while consumer electronics and home appliances businesses were weaker because of temporary demand delays after the GST rate cut in August and early monsoon impact.

“We continue to value DIXON at 55x as company return ratios continue to remain healthy. We believe there could be risk to revenue in other products (Ex of mobile) as demand environment continues to be subdued,” it added.

Phillip Capital noted that the firm has cuts its FY27 mobile phone volume guidance to 55-60 million units from 60–65 million units. Mobile phone and electronic manufacturing services segment accounted for 90 percent of its revenue.

The brokerage said that the company missed Street's PAT estimates by 13 percent due to increase in minority interest in its Ismartu and Bharti subsidiary. It added that achieving volume guidance seems tricky given that the festive season is over and H2 is generally weak

Motilal Oswal sees 40% upside potential:

Motilal Oswal reiterated its ‘Buy’ rating on the stock, with a target price of Rs 22,500 per share. This implies an upside potential of nearly 40 percent from the stock’s previous closing price. “Dixon Technology’s 2QFY26 revenue/PAT came in line with our estimates, with the mobile segment registering a strong growth of 42% YoY. Due to the base effect of Ismartu integration and improved volumes from existing clients, mobile volumes jumped YoY during the quarter. This quarter's performance was hit to an extent by demand slowdown due to GST rate changes and the postponement of decision-making from customers,” the domestic brokerage said.

“Demand has started recovering for the consumer durable segment post GST rate cut, and we believe this will further be reflected in Q3 FY26 results. With continuous focus on backward integration through component PLI and plans for long-term JV agreements with clients, we believe DIXON will continue to benefit from volume and margin improvements even after the PLI period ends by Mar’26. We marginally revise our estimates to bake in improved margin performance in the home appliances segment,” it added.

The mobiles business remained a key growth driver for Dixon in Q2, with revenue from the mobiles and EMS vertical growing 41 percent YoY, while consumer electronics (-32 percent YoY) and home appliances (-3 percent YoY) remained weak, said JM Financial. “Dixon’s backward integration initiatives, including display assembly (expected Mar/Apr’26) and camera module assembly (consolidated w.e.f. Sep’25) appear to be largely on track. Dixon also indicated that it is in discussions with a large global ODM (FY27E potential of ~6mn smartphones), wherein mass manufacturing is expected by 4QFY26/1QFY27. That said, FY26/27E volume guidance remains unchanged at 40-42mn and 60-65mn smartphones respectively. While we cut our FY26E EPS estimates by 4.8% to accommodate for higher finance costs and minority interest, our FY27/28E estimates remain largely unchanged,” it added.
