Ballygunge Family Trust has acquired more than 2 percent stake in Shankara Building Products, the home improvement and building materials retailer, from Toronto-based Marval Capital via open market transactions on February 20.

The Ballygunge Family Trust has bought 5.1 lakh shares (equivalent to 2.1 percent of paid-up equity) in Shankara Building Products for Rs 5.35 crore from Marval Guru Fund, a part of Toronto-based India-focused investment firm Marval Capital. The shares exchange has taken place at a price of Rs 105 per share.

Marval Guru Fund held 3.55 percent stake in Shankara Building Products as of December 2025.

Oil prices increased amid rising tensions between US and Iran. "Oil prices are rallying as the market becomes increasingly concerned over the potential for imminent U.S. action against Iran," Reuters quoted ING analysts as saying. "For oil markets, the concern is clearly what action would mean not only for Iranian oil supply, but also broader Persian Gulf oil flows, given the risk of disruption to shipments through the Strait of Hormuz,” they added.

Iran is quickly shielding key nuclear facilities beneath concrete and earth, turning them into hardened bunkers as US military presence in the region increases, according to satellite analysis by the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS).

This comes as the US has deployed a significant number of fighter jets and support aircraft to the Middle East.

Brent futures climbed 71 cents, or 1.01 percent to $71.06 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 69 cents, or 1.06 percent to trade at $65.88 a barrel, as seen at 3.15 pm IST.

<h3>Technical view on Bank Nifty:</h3>
Hitesh Tailor, Research Analyst at Choice Equity Broking said that the immediate support was seen in the 61,250–61,350 range, while 61,750–61,850 continues to act as a major resistance zone. Notably, the index has already fallen below the said support zone.

"On the higher end, the index may move towards 62,000 and possibly higher. On the lower end, support is placed at 61,200,” said Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities. Notably, this support level too has been breached by the index.

Gaurav Udani, Founder - ThincRedBlu Securities meanwhile said that resistance is placed at 61,800–62,000, with support at 61,200–61,000.
