Nippon India Mutual Fund has acquired 13.82 lakh shares (1.76 percent stake) in Sudarshan Chemical Industries for Rs 111.95 crore, while Theleme India Master Fund has picked up 4 lakh shares (0.5 percent stake) for Rs 32.4 crore. The purchase price for both transactions was Rs 810 per share.

However, Rahul Pradeep Rathi, Pradeep Ramwilas Rathi, and Anuj Narayandas Rathi, who were promoters, offloaded a 3 percent stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries for Rs 191.09 crore.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises

Vanguard Group-managed Vanguard International Value Fund sold 49.58 lakh shares (0.51 percent stake) in Zee Entertainment Enterprises at Rs 80.36 per share, valued at Rs 39.84 crore. Vanguard Group, through three funds, held a 5.01 percent stake in the company.

M &amp;amp; B Engineering

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority exited M &amp;amp; B Engineering by selling its entire 12.91 lakh shares (2.26 percent stake) at Rs 324.5 per share, amounting to Rs 41.91 crore. However, 360 ONE Asset Management was the primary buyer, picking up 12.66 lakh shares for Rs 41.09 crore.

Ind-Swift Laboratories

HCP Investments sold 4.77 lakh shares in Ind-Swift Laboratories at Rs 143.58 per share, valued at Rs 6.86 crore, and an additional 5 lakh shares at Rs 137.95 per share, amounting to Rs 6.9 crore. In total, this represented a 1.12 percent stake sale.

Nippon India India Asset Management, and Theleme India Master Fund have bought additional 2.26 percent equity stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries, the pigments and color solutions provider, via open market transactions on April 16.

Perhaps, Sudarshan Chemical shares may have reacted to the deal, soaring sharply by 7.74 percent to Rs 878.6 on the National Stock Exchange and forming long bullish candle on the daily charts after breakout of more than a month of consolidation.

Nippon India Mutual Fund has acquired 13.82 lakh shares (1.76 percent stake) in the company for Rs 111.95 crore, while Theleme India Master Fund has picked up 4 lakh shares (0.5 percent stake) for Rs 32.4 crore. Their buying price was Rs 810 per share.

Nippon Life India Trustee through Nippon India Small Cap Fund held 1.51 percent stake in the company, while Theleme India Master Fund owned 1.68 percent shares as of December 2025.

However, earlier promoters Rahul Pradeep Rathi Pradeep Ramwilas Rathi, and Anuj Narayandas Rathi offloaded 3 percent stake in Sudarshan Chemical for Rs 191.09 crore.

Rahul Pradeep Rathi sold 7.86 lakh shares in the company at Rs 810.73 per share, Pradeep Ramwilas Rathi same number of shares at Rs 810.05 per share, and Anuj Narayandas Rathi also same number of shares at Rs 810 per share. As of December 2025, they held 3.85 percent, 4.36 percent, and 6.93 percent shares, respectively.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises was also in focus, falling 3.05 percent to Rs 80.2, may be after stake sale by Vanguard

Vanguard Group-managed Vanguard International Value Fund sold 49.58 lakh shares (0.51 percent stake) in the media company at Rs 80.36 per share, valued at Rs 39.84 crore. Vanguard Group through three funds held 5.01 percent stake in Zee.

Meanwhile, the brisk action was also seen in M &amp;amp; B Engineering, the turnkey PEB &amp;amp; roofing solutions provider, which rose 1.74 percent to Rs 327.

HCP Investments pared 1.12 percent stake in Ind-Swift Laboratories on Thursday of 8.65 percent shares held as of February 24, 2026. The foreign investors sold 4.77 lakh shares in Ind-Swift at Rs 143.58 per share, valued at Rs 6.86 crore, and 5 lakh shares at Rs 137.95 per share, amounting to Rs 6.9 crore.

Despite the stake sale by HCP, Ind-Swift Labs shares gained 0.94 percent to close at Rs 145.41 on the National Stock Exchange.

MosChip Technologies shares rose nearly 7% after its board approved acquiring a 73% stake in Vayavya Labs for Rs 245 crore, aiming to expand its software-led engineering business. The deal involves cash and share swap, with plans to acquire the rest by 2028.

Shares of MosChip Technologies rose nearly 7 percent in intraday trade on Thursday after the company said its board has approved acquisition of a 73 percent stake in Vayavya Labs for Rs 245 crore.

The stock hit a high of Rs 196.55 per share on the NSE, up 6.79 percent. It has gained over 11 percent in the last two trading sessions.

In an exchange filing, the company said its Board of Directors, at a meeting held on April 16, 2026, approved the proposed acquisition of a controlling stake in Vayavya Labs Private Limited as part of its strategy to scale its software-led product engineering solutions business.

MosChip said 73 percent shareholding will be acquired for a consideration of Rs 245.49 crore. Of this, 60.50 percent will be paid in cash through internal accruals, while 39.50 percent will be through a share swap.

Vayavya Labs, incorporated in 2006 and headquartered in Belagavi, operates in the &quot;Silicon-to-System&quot; engineering space across sectors including semiconductors, consumer electronics, automotive, electronic design automation, communications and connectivity. The company has delivery centres in Belagavi and Bengaluru.

MosChip said it will execute a shareholders’ agreement with Vayavya Labs’ shareholders for acquisition of the remaining 27 percent stake after March 31, 2028.

The company also said it will issue and allot 50,50,686 equity shares of face value Rs 2 each on a preferential basis at an issue price of Rs 192 per share to the selling shareholders as part of the share-swap arrangement.

MosChip shares rise 5% as board approves 73% acquisition of Vayavya Labs for Rs 245 crore

Shares of basmati rice exporter Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) rose 2% on April 16 after the firm reported 94% jump in net profit in the quarter ended March 31, 2026.

The firm reported consolidated net profit of Rs 35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as against Rs 18 crore in the year-ago period.

The firm's EBITDA rose 76% to Rs 65 crore in Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 37 crore in Q4FY25.

The company said its revenue from operations increased 15% to Rs 571 crore.

At 10:54 am on April 16, the company's shares were trading nearly flat at Rs 124.75 apiece.

Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Ltd is a processor and exporter of basmati rice in India. The company markets its products under the flagship brand &quot;Aeroplane&quot;.

It competes with the likes of other large basmati rice companies, including KRBL Ltd, LT Foods, and Sarveshwar Foods, and various other unorganised processors.

Apart from its core basmati rice business, the company has diversified into FMCG products, offering staples and other essential kitchen items.

Earlier this month, the company's shares listed with a discount of 8% against the issue price of Rs 212.

The offer size had been reduced to Rs 440 crore as compared with the Rs 550-crore issue size proposed in the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed in June 2025.

Shares of Tejas Networks fell 4.5% on April 16 after the company announced its net loss widened in the quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Tejas Networks posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 211.34 crore in the March quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 71.80 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. At 10:32 am om April 16, Tejas Networks shares were trading 4.4% lower at Rs 429.95 apiece.

Revenue from operations fell 82.55% to Rs 332.69 crore in the quarter under review, compared to Rs 1,906.94 crore in the year-ago period.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) loss stood at Rs 118 crore in Q4FY26, down 197.26% from Rs 122 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin was at -35.53% vs 6.37% in the year-ago period.

The company's COO, Arnob Roy, said, &quot;In Q4FY26, we made significant progress in international business expansion of our wireless products, with the first commercial order for our 4G/5G wireless products in international markets, a 5G massive MIMO radio supply contract with NEC, and successful trials of our 5G products for an operator in the Americas. During the quarter, we also witnessed strong traction for our 400G/800G coherent DWDM solutions in telco and carrier of carrier networks to serve the surging bandwidth demand for 5G backhaul, enterprise and data center connectivity.&quot;

Sumit Dhingra, the chief financial officer of Tejas Networks, said that the firm ended the quarter with an order book of Rs 1,514 crore, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 49%.

&quot;Our net debt was Rs 3,531 crore; gross debt of Rs 4,035 crore and cash of Rs 505 crore. For FY26, we achieved a revenue of Rs 1,103 crore with a PAT loss of Rs 909 crore,&quot; he added.

Tejas Networks Ltd. Wednesday appointed Arnob Roy as managing director and chief executive officer of the company effective immediately till August 2028. Roy earlier served as chief operating officer and executive director of the company. Preetham Uthaiah will replace Roy as the chief operating officer.

The company also appointed AVS Prasad as chief financial officer with effect from May 16. Prasad will take over from Sumit Dhingra who has resigned from the post, the company said in an exchange filing.

The company appointed Srikumar Vijayasekharan as an independent director for five years. It also appointed him as an additional director with immediate effect. The comes after PR Ramesh stepped down from the independent director post.
