Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has acquired over half a percent stake in HFCL, the fiber optic cable maker, via open market transactions on November 11.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/telecommunications-equipment/hfcl/HFC">HFCL</a> shares rallied 5.5 percent to Rs 78.3 on Tuesday and reached to the upper Bollinger band with long bullish candle formation.

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has bought 74.9 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.5 percent of paid-up equity) at Rs 78.45 per share, amounting to Rs 58.8 crore.

Meanwhile, Anil Arora acquired 73.75 lakh units in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/cubeinvit/CUBEI15078">Cube Highways Trust</a> at Rs 135.5 per unit for Rs 99.93 crore. The unit price was unchanged in the today's trading session.

Varanium Capital Advisors picked 1.05 percent stake in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/consumer-food/annapurnaswadisht/AS28">Annapurna Swadisht</a>, and over half a percent shares in Jay Bee Laminations.

Annapurna Swadisht shares rallied 6.3 percent to Rs 255.50 after several day of consolidation, while <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/printingstationery/jaybeelaminations/JAYBE25040">Jay Bee Laminations</a> hit all-time low of Rs 129 before rebounding sharply by 5.53 percent to close at Rs 140.2 today after sharp correction in the previous five consecutive sessions.

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has acquired over half a percent stake in HFCL, the fiber optic cable maker, via open market transactions on November 11.

HFCL shares rallied 5.5 percent to Rs 78.3 on Tuesday and reached to the upper Bollinger band with long bullish candle formation.

The Indian airline said that its customers will be able to connect on the China Southern Airlines' extensive network beyond Guangzhou as part of this agreement. This is however subject to regulatory approvals.

IndiGo said that this partnership aims to offer improved travel options and integrated travel itineraries to customers traveling between India and China on the joint network of both airlines.

"We are happy to join hands with China Southern Airlines as we enhance connectivity between India and China. We recently reinstated our direct daily flights connecting Kolkata with Guangzhou followed by inaugurating a new direct service between Delhi and Guangzhou. Now with this partnership, our joint customers will get the added convenience of booking seamlessly for travel across various parts of India and China on the joint network of IndiGo and China Southern Airline," said IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers.

What China Southern Airlines CEO says:

China Southern Airlines President and CEO Han Wensheng meanwhile said, "China Southern Airlines highly values the development potential of the Indian market. Through cooperation with IndiGo, we will be able to further leverage each other’s advantages, offer a wider range of travel products, and give new momentum to the economic, cultural and aviation exchanges between the two countries."

The latest announcement from IndiGo comes a day after the airline started direct daily flights from Delhi to Guangzhou. During the earnings call held on November 4, IndiGo's management highlighted that it has already spearheaded the resumption of flights to China which are operating from Kolkata to Guangzhou since October 26. "We are super proud to be starting Delhi to Guangzhou in a few days as from November 10 onwards. With this very important step, we are looking at adding more direct flights to China," said Elbers.

Direct flights were operational between India and China till early 2020 before being suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Indian and Chinese carriers had direct services. The services remained suspended in view of the eastern Ladakh border row which ensued later.

The shares of the popular eyewear-retailer had listed at a discount of nearly 3 percent over the IPO price at Rs 390 apiece on BSE yesterday. The stock then sharply recovered, closing 0.3 percent higher than its IPO price at Rs 403.30 apiece on BSE on its debut day.

The shares of the company have now extended gains for the second consecutive session since listing. The stock is currently up around 4 percent from its IPO price of Rs 402 apiece.

Ambit Capital on Lenskart:

Ambit Capital had issued a 'Sell' call on Lenskart shares, even before the stock made its much-anticipated market debut. This is a rare occasion when a brokerage issued a ‘Sell’ call on a stock even before it hit the stock markets.

The brokerage kept a target price of Rs 337 apiece for the shares of the popular eyewear-retailer, implying a downside potential of nearly 14 percent from the stock’s listing price of Rs 390 apiece. Notably, the target price is more than 16 percent lower than its IPO price.

According to the brokerage note cited by NDTV Profit, Ambit Capital said that Lenskart’s made-to-order model is capex-heavy, which keeps returns muted. It expects FCF turning positive only in FY28E.

The domestic brokerage also said that the valuations seem to be unwarranted, given lower RoCE of 9 percent and RoIC of 13 percent, as against peers’ 35-40 percent.

What other analysts say:

"Lenskart looks good from a business model perspective, but at the right valuation which is much lower than the current levels," said Ambareesh Baliga, an independent market analyst. "The (weak) listing shows the importance of looking at the valuation and not to go blindly by grey market premium or oversubscription to apply for an IPO," Baliga said.

Baliga added that this sort of listing, especially after strong subscription, could affect retail investor participation in upcoming IPOs.

Investors allotted shares may consider holding for the medium to long term, supported by earnings visibility and expanding store footprint, with a stop loss around Rs 350 and short-term traders may exit the position and look for better opportunities elsewhere, said Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart.

Despite a strong subscription of nearly 28 times, the listing fell short of the euphoria seen in other consumer-tech IPOs, underscoring valuation fatigue and a cooling grey-market premium in the days before debut, said Harshal Dasani, Business Head, INVasset PMS.

"At current levels, valuations remain stretched, with the stock trading at a steep multiple relative to both domestic and global peers. Near-term earnings visibility is limited as Lenskart continues to invest heavily in expansion, marketing, and technology integration. Given the combination of rich pricing and moderate listing sentiment, it may be prudent for investors to book profits where available and await more attractive entry points once fundamentals catch up," he said.

"While the company’s long-term story — built around market leadership, omnichannel distribution, and brand strength — remains intact, the short-term setup looks unconvincing. The market’s initial reaction highlights a growing investor preference for profitability and cash flow stability over high-growth narratives. For now, sentiment favors caution rather than conviction," he added.

Lenskart has listed at a discount and expect it to be range bound with negative bias, said Shravan Shetty, Managing Director at Primus Partners. The next stock specific trigger could be the earnings, he added, explaining that they would need to surprise on the upside for stock to justify its valuation.

Lenskart had launched its IPO to raise Rs 7,278 crore through a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 2,150 crore, and an offer for sale of 12.75 crore shares. At a price band of Rs 382-402 per share, the company seeks a valuation of around Rs 70,000 crore.

"We are getting a fair deal, just a fair trade deal," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office during the swearing-in of his envoy to India, Sergio Gor. "We are making a deal with India, much different deal than we had in the past," he added.

Why are shrimp and textile stocks rallying?

The shares of Oil &amp; Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) dropped more than 2 percent on November 11 after the company released its results for the second quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. The shares of Ather Energy meanwhile jumped over 5 percent.

The two companies had released their results in the post market hours of November 10. ONGC shares were trading at Rs 246 apiece, while Ather Energy shares rose to Rs 660 apiece on November 11.

ONGC Q2 Results:

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/oil-drillingexploration/oilnaturalgascorporation/ONG">ONGC</a> reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 10,784.88 crore for the July-September quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. This marks a 5 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 10,235.46 crore net profit reported in the same period of the previous financial year.

The company’s revenue from operations meanwhile dropped around 1 percent YoY to around Rs 1.58 lakh crore in Q2 FY26, from Rs 1.59 lakh crore in Q2 FY25.

JM Financial said that the firm’s standalone EBITDA of Rs 17,700 crore missed its estimate by 2 percent on higher opex led by forex loss. However, it noted that the profit after tac was significantly above its estimates, led by higher other income and aided by lower dry well write offs.

The brokerage maintains a ‘Buy’ rating on the stock, and raised its target price to Rs 295 per share. This implies an upside potential of more than 17 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

Ather Energy Q2 Results:

Electric-scooter maker <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-ancillaries-brakes/atherenergy/AEL09">Ather Energy</a> reported a net loss of Rs 154 crore for Q2 FY26. This is lower than the Rs 197 crore net loss reported in the same period of the previous financial year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 54 percent YoY to Rs 898 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 583 crore in Q2 FY25. This was driven by higher deliveries and festive demand.

Total expenses increased 37 percent YoY to Rs 1,095 crore, led by <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/ather-energy-narrows-losses-in-q2fy26-as-revenue-rises-54-year-on-year-13664727.html">higher raw material</a> costs of Rs 736 crore. Employee benefit expenses were stable at Rs 114 crore, while other expenses climbed to Rs 187 crore from Rs 128 crore a year earlier.

The two companies had released their results in the post market hours of November 10. ONGC shares were trading at Rs 246 apiece, while Ather Energy shares rose to Rs 660 apiece on November 11.

ONGC Q2 Results:

ONGC reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 10,784.88 crore for the July-September quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. This marks a 5 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 10,235.46 crore net profit reported in the same period of the previous financial year.

The company’s revenue from operations meanwhile dropped around 1 percent YoY to around Rs 1.58 lakh crore in Q2 FY26, from Rs 1.59 lakh crore in Q2 FY25.

JM Financial said that the firm’s standalone EBITDA of Rs 17,700 crore missed its estimate by 2 percent on higher opex led by forex loss. However, it noted that the profit after tac was significantly above its estimates, led by higher other income and aided by lower dry well write offs.

The brokerage maintains a ‘Buy’ rating on the stock, and raised its target price to Rs 295 per share. This implies an upside potential of more than 17 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

Ather Energy Q2 Results:

Electric-scooter maker Ather Energy reported a net loss of Rs 154 crore for Q2 FY26. This is lower than the Rs 197 crore net loss reported in the same period of the previous financial year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 54 percent YoY to Rs 898 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 583 crore in Q2 FY25. This was driven by higher deliveries and festive demand.

Total expenses increased 37 percent YoY to Rs 1,095 crore, led by higher raw material costs of Rs 736 crore. Employee benefit expenses were stable at Rs 114 crore, while other expenses climbed to Rs 187 crore from Rs 128 crore a year earlier.
