Aurobindo Pharma

The company’s subsidiary, TheraNym Biologics, has expanded its existing CMO agreement with Merck Sharp &amp;amp; Dohme Singapore Trading, Singapore, through the execution of an additional product schedule.

Under the new product schedule, TheraNym Biologics will construct a greenfield project for commissioning a large-scale mammalian drug substance manufacturing facility (Unit 2), housing a total of 60 KL bioreactor capacity.

GHV Infra Projects

The company has entered into a construction contract worth Rs 815 crore with APCO Infratech for the execution of road construction work and other miscellaneous civil works. The construction period will be 30 months.

John Cockerill India

The company has received an order worth Rs 300 crore from JSW Steel Coated Products for the design, manufacturing, supply, and supervision of erection and commissioning of a continuous galvanizing line at its Khopoli plant.

Brigade Enterprises

The company has signed a joint development agreement for a residential township project spread across an 8.63-acre parcel in Bengaluru, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of about Rs 7,200 crore.

Container Corporation of India

The company has placed orders worth Rs 175.36 crore with Braithwaite &amp;amp; Co for the manufacturing and supply of nine BLSS (Spine Car) rakes on a turnkey basis.

Rubicon Research

The company has acquired an 85 percent equity stake in Arinna Lifesciences for Rs 175.92 crore, marking its entry into the Indian CNS formulations market.

Suraj Estate Developers

The company has acquired a land parcel in Dadar, Mumbai, for Rs 8.53 crore, along with an additional 2,200 sq ft area to be handed over to landowners, taking the total acquisition cost to Rs 18 crore.

It intends to undertake redevelopment of the land, with a saleable carpet area of around 0.18 lakh sq ft and an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately Rs 100 crore.

Fino Payments Bank

Fino Bank has migrated its core banking system (CBS) to Finacle, a technology platform to support its next phase of growth, including its transition to a small finance bank (SFB), with an investment of Rs 200 crore.

UFO Moviez India

The company has announced a tie-up with China Film Group-promoted Cinity, a Hollywood-approved premium large screen format, to provide a larger-than-life experience to cinegoers in India.

Nexus Opportunity Fund sold 5.37 lakh shares in Delhivery for Rs 25.01 crore, while Nexus Ventures III offloaded 34.62 lakh shares for Rs 160.98 crore. In total, 0.53 percent stake worth Rs 186 crore was sold at a transaction price of Rs 465 per share.

On the other side, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund were buyers of the shares sold by Nexus at the same price.

Repco Home Finance

WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund has acquired an additional 3.47 lakh shares (0.55 percent stake) in Repco Home Finance for Rs 13.33 crore at Rs 384.04 per share.

As of March 2026, the fund house, through its Flexi Cap Fund, held a 2.86 percent stake in Repco.

Nexus Ventures Partners on April 15 has offloaded more than half a percent equity stake worth Rs 186 crore in logistics solutions provider Delhivery via open market transactions.

This is the second lot of stake sale by US-based venture capital firm Nexus Ventures Partners through in current month. Earlier on April 8, it had offloaded 1.6 percent shares in Delhivery.

On Wednesday, Nexus Opportunity Fund sold 5.37 lakh shares in Delhivery for Rs 25.01 crore, and Nexus Ventures III offloaded 34.62 lakh shares for Rs 160.98 crore. This totalled to 0.53 percent stake worth Rs 186 crore, while the transaction price was Rs 465 per share.

Nexus Ventures III held 4.49 percent equity stake in Delhivery as of December 2025, however, in April, its total stake sold was around 1.85 percent. Considering this, Nexus' total stake may have reduced to below 3 percent now.

On other side, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund were buyers for Delhivery shares sold by Nexus at same price.

Nippon India Mutual Fund has acquired additional 5.75 lakh shares in Delhivery for Rs 26.73 crore. On April 8, the fund house had bought 45.75 lakh shares (around 0.6 percent stake) for Rs 202.21 crore, on top of 2.9 percent shares already being held through Nippon India Multi Cap Fund by end of December 2025.

Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE has purchased 6 lakh shares for Rs 27.9 crore, and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte 12 lakh shares for Rs 55.8 crore, while Edelweiss Mutual Fund has acquired 10.75 lakh shares for Rs 49.98 crore and Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund 5.5 lakh shares for Rs 25.57 crore.

Delhivery shares fell 1.18 percent to Rs 459.80 on the National Stock Exchange despite rally in equity markets.

Meanwhile, the brisk action was also seen in Repco Home Finance, which rose 2.06 percent to Rs 386.25 may be after the WhiteOak deal.

WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund has picked up additional 3.47 lakh shares (0.55 percent stake) in the housing finance company for Rs 13.33 crore at Rs 384.04 per share.

IT shares ended a two-day losing streak, with the Nifty IT index rising 2.84% as all 10 constituents closed higher. TCS reported a 12.22% profit rise, but concerns over growth quality and AI disruption keep the sector range-bound amid subdued global demand.

IT shares snapped a two-day losing streak and settled nearly 3 percent higher on Wednesday amid a broad-based rally.

The Nifty IT index ended 2.84 percent higher at 31,539.75, with all its 10 constituents closing in the green.

In Wednesday’s session, Oracle Financial Services Software was the top gainer, rising 5.38 percent.

Coforge and Mphasis advanced 4.15 per cent and 3.88 per cent, respectively.

Heavyweights Wipro, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and HCL Technologies gained between 1 percent and 3 percent.

The index snapped its 2-day decline after TCS results on April 9, Thursday.

The shares of the country’s largest IT services company TCS had ended about 2.5 percent lower on Friday after its March quarter earnings failed to cheer investors on April 9. The stock declined 2.45 percent to settle at Rs 2,524.35 on the BSE. During the day, it fell 3.32 percent to Rs 2,501.70. On the NSE, it edged lower by 2.49 percent to end at Rs 2,524.30.

Hariprasad K, Founder of Livelong Wealth, said &quot;Despite stable profit growth, the market reaction highlights concerns around growth quality and forward guidance. Broader sentiment in IT continues to be impacted by subdued global demand and rising concerns around AI-led disruption, keeping the sector range-bound in the near term,&quot; he said.

TCS reported a 12.22 percent rise in its March quarter net profit to Rs 13,718 crore, supported by expanded margins.

For 2025-26, its profit after tax rose 1.35 percent to Rs 49,210 crore compared to Rs 48,553 crore in FY25.

In the reporting quarter, revenue from operations increased 9.64 percent to Rs 70,698 crore from Rs 64,479 crore in the year-ago period. For the full fiscal year, revenue rose 4.58 percent to Rs 2.67 lakh crore.

Gold and silver ETFs rose up to 6% as precious metal prices climbed, driven by a weaker US dollar after soft US PPI data eased inflation concerns. Optimism over US-Iran diplomacy and easing oil prices also boosted sentiment, while aluminium prices gained.

Gold and silver exchange traded funds (ETFs) rose up to 6 percent on Wednesday as prices of the precious metals advanced, supported by a weaker US dollar after softer-than-expected US producer price index (PPI) data.

Data showed headline PPI rose modestly and missed expectations, easing immediate inflation concerns and improving overall market sentiment. The trend indicated that inflationary pressures remain largely driven by external factors, including the ongoing US-Iran conflict.

A weaker US dollar reduced safe-haven demand for the greenback and boosted bullion. When the dollar weakens, gold becomes cheaper for buyers using other currencies, which typically supports demand and lifts prices.
Gold and silver ETFs rise
Among silver ETFs, Axis Silver ETF surged 5.54 percent, while ICICI Prudential Silver ETF and Kotak Silver ETF rose 5.43 percent and 5.66 percent, respectively.

Mirae Asset Silver ETF, Motilal Oswal Silver ETF, HDFC Silver ETF and Nippon India Silver ETF also moved up in trade.

Among gold ETFs, Nippon India ETF Gold BeES rose around 2 percent. ICICI Prudential Gold ETF gained 1.5 percent, while Axis Gold ETF advanced about 1.7 percent.

UTI Gold ETF, Edelweiss Gold ETF, HDFC Gold ETF, Quantum Gold ETF and DSP Gold ETF also traded higher.

Optimism around renewed diplomatic engagement between the US and Iran, further supported sentiment and lifted gold prices by over 2 percent. Easing oil prices also provided some relief from inflation concerns that had weighed on the metal.

However, the broader outlook remained mixed as expectations of delayed rate cuts due to energy-led inflation capped gains.

Meanwhile, shares of Multi Commodity Exchange of India hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 2,889 per share on the NSE, rising 4.46 percent. The sharp rise in the stock was in line with gains in precious metal prices, while the metal index was up 2.2 percent.

Aluminium prices also rose nearly 0.65 percent to Rs 369.05 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 2.40, or 0.65 percent, to Rs 369.05 per kilogram in 133 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.

Shares of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank fell up to 5.5% on April 15 after Reserve Bank of India returned the lender's universal banking application, for now.

&quot;The RBI took note of the Bank’s recent efforts towards diversification of its loan portfolio. However, they were of the view that there is scope for progress in this area. Therefore, RBI have returned the application and advised the Bank to consider applying again after demonstrating a diversified loan portfolio,&quot; said the lender in a stock exchange filing.

At 10:40 am on April 15, Ujjivan SFB shares were trading 5.5% lower at Rs 56.96 apiece. The 52-week low of the stock is Rs 38.91 while 52-week high was Rs 68. The market capitalisation of the stock is over Rs 11,000 crore. The stock closed 3% lower on April 15.

The bank reported record-high quarterly disbursements and a 70.6% year-on-year jump in net profit to approximately Rs 186 crore in Q3FY26. Deposits grew 22.4% annually, reaching Rs 42,223 crore, while net interest income hit an all-time high of Rs 1,000 crore.

Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) stood at 2.39%, with Net NPA at 0.57%.
