This marks a discount of 12.19 percent over the IPO price of Rs 361 apiece.

The company’s market capitalization during debut stood at Rs 6,857.94 crore.

On NSE, the shares debuted with a slightly lesser discount of 11.91 percent at Rs 318 apiece.

The listing performance has significantly missed grey market expectations. The grey market premium (GMP) quoted by the site has significantly fallen from the 11.91 percent quoted on January 8.

The weak listing comes despite the firm’s IPO seeing <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/ipo/amagi-media-labs-ipo-subscribed-71-on-day-3-so-far-retail-portion-fully-booked-check-latest-gmp-13775319.html">strong investor interest</a> during its three days of public bidding. The Rs 1,789-crore initial public offering of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) company was subscribed 30 times from January 13 to January 16.

Retail Individual Investors (RII) subscribed their reserved portion 9.31 times (931 percent).

Non Institutional Investors (NII) however led the subscription numbers, subscribing their reserved portion nearly 37.36 times (3,736 percent). Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) have booked the portion kept for them 33.77 times (3,377 percent).
<h3>About Amagi Media Labs IPO:</h3>
Amagi Media Labs launched its initial public offering (IPO) to raise Rs 1,789 crore through a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 816 crore and an offer for sale worth Rs 973 crore by the existing investors. The price band for the IPO was set at Rs 343-361 per share.

Investors could bid for a minimum of 41 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 14,801 at the upper price band, and in multiples thereafter. The IPO was open for public bidding from January 13 to January 16.

A day before the IPO opened for public bidding, Amagi Media Labs raised Rs 804.87 crore from 42 anchor investors on January 12. Out of the total allocation to anchor investors, 1.69 crore equity shares worth Rs 613 crore were allocated to 11 domestic mutual funds including SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, HDFC AMC, Motilal Oswal AMC, Franklin India, PGIM India, and Helios.

Insurance companies like HDFC Life Insurance, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, and Edelweiss Life Insurance also picked up 14.95 lakh shares in Amagi for Rs 53.98 crore.
<h3>Should you buy, sell or hold?</h3>
"At the upper end of the price band, the company is valued at 6.7 times FY25 price-to-sales, implying a post-issue market capitalisation of about Rs 7,810 crore. The company has turned profitable in the first half of FY26 and, aided by operating leverage, is positioned to deliver full-year profitability in FY26," said Narendra Solanki, Head of Fundamental Research – Investment Services at Anand Rathi Shares and Stock Brokers.

"Long-term investors may continue to hold the stock, while others can consider partial profit booking and retain the balance for the long term," he added.

Mahesh M Ojha, Vice President – Research and Business Development at Kantilal Chhaganlal Securities Pvt Ltd, said the issue is valued at about five times FY26 estimated EV/Sales, which he described as reasonable. "Allotted investors may look to book listing gains, while fresh investors should wait for price discovery post listing," Ojha said.

The project will be commissioned in Salboni, West Bengal, within six years.

HDFC Bank

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the reappointment of Kaizad Bharucha as the Whole-time Director (Deputy Managing Director) of HDFC Bank for a further period of three years, effective April 19, 2026.

HCL Technologies

The global technology company has announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp, a trusted government IT solutions provider, to accelerate digital transformation in the US public sector.

Power Grid Corporation of India

The Board has approved proposals worth Rs 914 crore for the procurement of cold spare transformers and reactors.

Highway Infrastructure

The company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for engagement as the user-fee agency at the Mundka Fee Plaza, located on the strategically significant Urban Extension Road-11 (UER-11) corridor connecting Delhi and Haryana.

The project, valued at Rs 64.68 crore, involves the operation and collection of user fees at the Mundka Toll Plaza, along with the upkeep and maintenance of associated facilities, including toilet blocks and consumables.

RBL Bank

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of a certain shareholding in RBL Bank by Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C.).

Tata Steel

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of 50.01 percent equity share capital of Thriveni Pellets by Tata Steel.

Embassy Developments

The company announced its expansion into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), with plans to invest Rs 4,500 crore to expand its Mumbai footprint through three marquee residential projects in Worli, Juhu, and Alibaug. Collectively, the projects represent a combined Gross Development Value (GDV) of over Rs 12,000 crore and a total development footprint of approximately 1.58 million square feet (RERA carpet area). Fidelity Securities Fund – Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund sold 2.36 crore equity shares (equivalent to 1.94 percent of the paid-up equity) in Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands for Rs 260.67 crore, at a price of Rs 110 per share.

Additionally, the same fund offloaded 2.15 crore equity shares (1.76 percent stake) in Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail for Rs 142.63 crore, at a price of Rs 66.2 per share.

However, Societe Generale – ODI acquired 74.97 lakh shares (0.61 percent stake) in Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail at Rs 65.78 per share, amounting to Rs 49.31 crore.

Hornbill Orchid India Fund exited PropEquity by selling its entire holding of 4.04 lakh shares (3.86 percent stake) at Rs 165.01 per share, aggregating to Rs 6.67 crore.

Fidelity Securities Fund - Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund sold 2.36 crore equity shares (equivalent to 1.94 percent of paid-up equity) in Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands for Rs 260.67 crore. The selling price for these shares was Rs 110 per share.

The major action was also seen in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/it-servicesconsulting/peanalytics/A21">P E Analytics</a> that provides real estate data through its PropEquity platform, which shares declined 0.18 percent to Rs 165.3.

Venkata Nagaraju Padala also bought 1.54 lakh shares in Avana at Rs 77.04 per share for Rs 1.18 crore, Gautam Fatehpuria 2.5 lakh shares at same price for Rs 1.92 crore, and Gunavanth Kumar G (HUF) 2.5 lakh shares at Rs 77.22 per share for Rs 1.93 crore.

The shares of Havells India declined in trade sharply on January 20 after the company’s results for the October-December quarter of FY26 missed estimates on some fronts. Aarti Surfactants and Tips Music shares meanwhile surged.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/electric-equipment/havellsindia/HI01">Havells India</a> shares declined more than 7 percent to close at Rs 1,344.90 apiece. This comes a day after the company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 301.36 crore for Q3 FY26, marking a nearly 7 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise from Rs 282.81 crore in Q3 FY25 but a 5 percent QoQ decline from Rs 317.48 crore in Q2 FY26.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose more than 14 percent YoY to Rs 5,573.44 crore during the quarter under review.

Along with the Q3 results, Havells India announced an interim dividend of Rs 4 per equity share. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment has been set on January 23. The dividend will then be paid to the eligible shareholders on or before February 17.
<h3>Brokerages on Havells:</h3>
Motilal Oswal reiterated its 'Neutral' rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 1,590 apiece. This implies an upside potential of nearly 10 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 1447.1 apiece.

The domestic brokerage said that the company’s Q3 results came in below its estimates, as margins remained under pressure across the C&amp;W, Lloyd, and cable segments. “Going forward, the inventory situation of RAC, the implementation of price hikes due to new BEE norms, RM cost inflation, and growth in the C&amp;W segment amid copper price fluctuations will be the key monitorables,” it added.

JM Financial said that the firm’s adjusted PAT was a “shade below expectations”, while EBITDA was in-line and revenue was above estimate. “Our FY26E EPS estimate goes up by 3%, primarily on the back of an increase in revenue from C&amp;W, while our FY27/28E EPS estimate is largely unchanged. We maintain BUY with a PT of INR 1,750 (unchanged), valuing Havells at 50x Dec’27E EPS,” the brokerage said.

Nomura kept a ‘Buy’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,798 per share. This implies an upside potential of more than 24 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 1,447.1 apiece. The international brokerage said that the firm’s Q3 earnings beat

Jefferies kept a ‘Hold’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 1,555 per share. This implies an upside potential of nearly 7.5 percent over the stock’s previous closing price. The international brokerage said that the firm’s strong cables and wires growth offset weakness in Lloyd &amp; Lighting.

Rising copper and aluminium prices may require calibrated price hikes, it added.
<h3>Aarti Surfactants Q3 Results:</h3>
<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/diversified-chemicals/aartisurfactants/ASL08">Aarti Surfactants</a> shares jumped 20 percent to hit the upper circuit at Rs 459.10 apiece on Tuesday. This comes after the firm’s net profit grew 358 percent YoY to Rs 3.66 crore in Q3 FY26, from Rs 79.75 lakh in Q3 FY25.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile grew around 28 percent YoY to Rs 207.79 crore during the quarter under review.
<h3>Tips Music Q3 Results:</h3>

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose over 21 percent YoY to Rs 94.29 crore during the quarter under review.
