Bajaj Finance on December 2 announced that it has sold around 2 percent stake in its subsidiary Bajaj Housing Finance for a total consideration of approximately Rs 1,588 crore.

The company made the announcement in the post markets hours of Tuesday.

"The sale was carried out as a step towards achieving the Minimum Public Shareholding requirements in BHFL," the firm said.

As at the end of the July-September quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026, Bajaj Finance held 88.70 percent stake in Bajaj Housing Finance, while the rest was held by the general public, according to data on the company's shareholding pattern.

Bajaj Housing Finance had made a bumper market debut in September last year, listing with a premium of 114 percent over the IPO issue price at Rs 150 per share. UBS upgraded the rating of Asian Paints to 'Neutral' from 'Sell', and raised its target price to Rs 3,200 per share from Rs 2,100 per share. The latest target price implies an upside potential of nearly 12 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 2,867.6 per share.

The international brokerage noted that Asian Paints delivered a double-digit volume growth and better-than-expected results in the second quarter of FY26, despite weak demand environment. It added that the company had highlighted that it intends to maintain volume momentum in the second half of the ongoing FY26.

UBS sees the volume outlook for second half of FY26 to be positive, and expects market conditions to improve in near term.
<h3><strong>Asian Paints Q2 Results:</strong></h3>
Asian Paints on November 12 reported a net profit of Rs 993.59 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 43 percent YoY rise from the Rs 694.64 crore net profit reported in Q2 FY25. The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile rose 6 percent YoY to Rs 8,513.70 crore.

In an exchange filing, SPARC announced that the US District Court for the District of Columbia has granted summary judgement in favour of the company in regard with the issuance of Priority Review Voucher (PRV) associated with the approval of Sezaby.

The court granted SPARC’s motion for summary judgment and held that "FDA's withholding of the PRV was contrary to law because no drug product containing phenobarbital sodium was 'previously approved' as that term is used in the statute". It has allowed 60 days to appeal against the motion.

Speaking about the development, SPARC CEO Anil Raghavan said, "We are pleased with the ruling issued today by the U.S. District Court, as it validates SPARC’s long held position on this matter."

Sezaby is a benzyl alcohol and propylene glycol free formulation of phenobarbital sodium powder for injection. It was approved by the US FDA for the treatment of neonatal seizures.
<h3><strong>SPARC share price:</strong></h3>
The sharp rise in the share price comes on the back of strong trading volumes. Nearly 2.6 crore shares have changed hands in trade so far. This is around 117 times that of the stock’s 10-day average volumes.

The shares are currently trading higher than its 200-day average. Despite today's sharp gains, SPARC shares have fallen nearly 19 percent in the past six months, and are down nearly 20 percent in 2025 so far.

Jefferies in its latest note maintained an 'Underperform' rating on the stock, with a target price of Rs 390 per share. This implies a downside potential of nearly 7 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 417.6 apiece.

According to Meesho's draft IPO papers filed with SEBI, the company shipped nearly 29.6 crore orders through Valmo during the April-June quarter of the ongoing financial year, as against 18 crore orders shipped through end-to-end express parcel delivery companies like Delhivery. This is sharply different from the trend seen in earlier years, where majority of the orders were shipped through the third-party delivery companies.

Jefferies noted that Valmo now handles approximately 50 percent of Meesho's shipments at a lower cost, as against third party logistics providers such as Delhivery.

The international brokerage estimated that Meesho accounted for roughly 16 percent of Delhivery's FY25 revenue. Hence, Meesho’s shift to insourcing could weigh on Delhivery's mainstay express parcels growth, it added.

<h3><strong>US FDA accepts Wockhardt's NDA for antibiotic Zaynich:</strong></h3>
Zaynich targets complicated urinary tract infections (cUTIs) caused by multi-drug resistant (MDR) gram-negative bacteria.

Wockhardt in its exchange filing said that the NDA was first filed on September 30, and its acceptance marks a "transformative moment, not only for Wockhardt, but also for the entire Indian pharmaceutical industry". "This is the first time in history that an NDA for a New Chemical Entity (NCE) from an Indian pharmaceutical company has been filed and accepted by the US FDA," it added.

The pharma company said that the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has granted fast track designation to Zaynich NDA, recognizing its potential to address urgent and unmet medical needs. "As part of this pathway, the FDA has committed to assign priority to Zaynich NDA review," it added.

"A novel β-lactam enhancer mechanism based Zaynich has garnered international attention for its potent activity against highly resistant Gram-negative pathogens—microbes responsible for prolonged hospitalizations and significant mortality worldwide. Its life-saving impact has already been demonstrated through compassionate use in critically ill patients in both India and the United States," Wockhardt said.

The science-driven program to develop Zaynich was initiated by Wockhardt in 2011, and the pharma company said that it has successfully navigated a demanding non-clinical, clinical and regulatory pathway. "With Zaynich, Wockhardt continues to drive forward its mission of delivering path breaking anti-infective therapies that respond to some of the most serious threats in global healthcare," it added.

Speaking about the development, Wockhardt said, "The FDA's acceptance of the Zaynich NDA is a historic and proud moment for the organization and for India.
