PPFAS Mutual Fund has bought 5.6 crore units of the real estate investment trust at Rs 420 per unit, valued at Rs 2,364.4 crore. However, Capital Income Builder, American Funds, and Small Cap World Fund sold nearly 5.5 percent units in the REIT at same price for Rs 2,199.7 crore.

Capital Income Builder offloaded 1.06 crore units (equivalent to 1.1 percent of total units outstanding) for Rs 447.4 crore, and American Funds Global Balanced Fund sold 1.25 crore units (1.3 percent stake) for Rs 525 crore, while the 2.92 crore units (3.08 percent stake) were sold by Small Cap World Fund for Rs 1,227.3 crore.

US-based Capital Group-owned Small Cap World Fund was holding 4.01 percent stake in Embassy Office Parks REIT as of December 2025.

Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/textiles-denim/rbdenims/RD03">R&amp;B Denims</a> was also in action, which shares rose 1.29 percent to Rs 199.21 on Tuesday, continuing uptrend for 22 consecutive sessions from January 27. The equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty fell more than 1 percent on Tuesday, dragged down by heavy selling in information technology (IT) shares amid concerns over artificial intelligence-led disruption and renewed trade-related uncertainties.

The decline in IT shares followed global concerns around artificial intelligence after the launch of enterprise tools such as Anthropic’s Claude Code. Market participants fear that generative AI tools could begin impacting traditional Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) revenues, a key revenue stream for Indian IT firms.

According to Sachin Gupta, Vice President – Research at Choice Broking, the Nifty IT index entered a clear bearish phase in February 2026 after correcting nearly 21 percent.

"The Nifty IT index slipped into a clear bearish phase in February 2026 after correcting nearly 21 percent. The decline gathered pace when the index broke down from a Head and Shoulders pattern on the weekly chart — a classic signal of a structural trend reversal. The fall dragged the index below its crucial 10-month low of 30,918, confirming that the broader trend has turned weak," he said.

Gupta further said the index has breached the 61.8 percent Fibonacci retracement level and witnessed a negative crossover of key moving averages, known as a ‘Death Cross’.

"This suggests that the earlier ‘buy on dips’ approach has now shifted to a ‘sell on rise’ strategy. With the index struggling to sustain even short-term pullbacks, the technical structure points to further downside toward the 29,300–28,700 support zone. A meaningful recovery is unlikely unless a strong global trigger — particularly stability in the Nasdaq — helps improve overall sentiment," he added.

"Oscillators being oversold, and with some of them showing positive divergence, recovery signs were beginning to be visible in the last few days. However, with today’s slippage, we are below the February 13 reaction low of 31,422 with momentum indicators favouring further slide. Standard deviation studies point to 29,961 as the nearest support below, with further major support seen at 28,800 and 27,200, in the event of a collapse. Upside reversal level is seen at 30,300 intraday, and at 31,300 on a closing basis, with further resistance seen at 36,200 for the Nifty IT index, which closed at 31,550.5 on Monday," he said.

The Nifty IT index has declined over 9.4 percent in the past one week and more than 21.6 percent in the last one month.

With Tuesday’s 6 percent fall, the index has dropped over 21 percent in February so far, marking its steepest monthly decline since the 2008 global financial crisis, according to an ET report.

The National Stock Exchange has decided to exclude Housing &amp;amp; Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), Piramal Pharma, Tata Technologies, and Torrent Power from the Futures &amp;amp; Options segment, effective April 29, 2026.

Bharti Airtel

The company announced major plans for its non-banking financial company (NBFC), Airtel Money, underscoring its commitment to narrowing the credit gap in India.

The NBFC subsidiary will be capitalised with Rs 20,000 crore, to be injected over the next few years. Airtel will contribute 70 percent, while the promoter group, through Bharti Enterprises, will bring in the remaining 30 percent.

Pace Digitek

The company’s subsidiary, Lineage Power, has received a purchase order worth Rs 158.7 crore from Reliance Industries for the supply of Li-ion battery packs (48V 15S1P 314 AH).

Signpost India

The company has received an order worth Rs 450 crore from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation for exclusive outdoor advertising rights on Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani), from Jawaharlal Nehru Road to Mullick Bazar Crossing; Camac Street (Abanindranath Sarani); Theatre Road (Shakespeare Sarani); and Park-o-Mat, under the ‘Kolkata Streetscape Renaissance’ project through the PPP mode.

Patel Engineering

The Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation, Pune, has declared Patel Engineering, along with its JV partners, as the lowest bidder for a Rs 133.25 crore contract.

The contract involves the construction of head works, pump houses, switchyards, rising mains, delivery chambers, and the installation of pumping machinery, along with allied civil, mechanical, and electrical works. It also includes the development of a closed pipe distribution system under the Tasgaon Lift Irrigation Scheme, part of the Guruvarya Late Laxmanraoji Inamdar Lift Irrigation Scheme.

Silver Touch Technologies

The IT solutions provider has been selected by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for a strategic digital transformation engagement.

Silver Touch will act as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for application development, enhancement, and the operations and maintenance of FSSAI portals and applications.

Chalet Hotels

The board has approved the development of a proposed 330-room luxury hotel, along with commercial/retail space of 36,255 sq ft, at Madhapur in Hyderabad, with an investment of Rs 632.8 crore. Once operational, this will be the company’s third hotel in Hyderabad.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation

BPCL has received a tax demand order worth Rs 1,816.65 crore (duty of Rs 476.94 crore, interest up to date of Rs 1,339.70 crore, and a penalty of Rs 95,000) from the Central Tax &amp;amp; Central Excise Department, Kochi, for the period from September 2004 to May 2010.

The major tax demand pertains to the pre-merger period of Kochi Refineries (KRL), that is, from September 2004 to August 2006, which was pending adjudication.

BPCL said it will file an appeal against the order with the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT).

Samvardhana Motherson International

Motherson, in a joint venture with Marelli, has inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Established as a strategic joint venture with Marelli, the advanced plant is dedicated exclusively to producing cutting-edge exterior lighting systems, further strengthening the group’s capabilities in automotive component manufacturing.

Suraj Estate Developers

The real estate developer has announced the completion of the acquisition of 100 percent shares of Hally Pacific, a company that owns a strategically located vacant land parcel in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

The acquisition was completed for Rs 30.40 crore, resulting in Hally Pacific becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The acquired entity owns approximately 717.39 square metres of vacant land in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

The company intends to undertake development at the project site, which has an estimated saleable carpet area of 0.367 lakh sq ft and an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately Rs 200 crore.

One Mobikwik Systems

The company’s subsidiary, Mobikwik Securities Broking, has received approval from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to commence its stock broking business.

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions

The company has received board approval for a definitive agreement framework to acquire 100 percent of Global Impex Inc from ConnectM Technology Solutions, Inc, a US-based modern energy economy company.

Sigma Advanced Systems

The company has secured fresh orders worth about Rs 100 crore from the Ministry of Defence and associated defence PSUs.

The contracts relate to ongoing strategic programmes across missile systems, naval platforms, and airborne applications, under which Sigma will supply built-to-spec systems, control electronics, and actuation solutions.

RBL Bank

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the reappointment of Chandan Sinha as Non-Executive (Part-time) Chairman of RBL Bank for a second term, with effect from May 21, 2026, to May 20, 2029.

Rashesh Chandrakant Shah has acquired 1 crore equity shares (equivalent to 1.05 percent of paid-up equity) in Edelweiss Financial Services for Rs 118 crore from Venkatchalam Arakoni Ramaswamy.

Both promoters and founders exchanged the above-mentioned shares at a price of Rs 118 per share.

Dudigital Global

Radiant Global Fund – Class B Participating Shares has acquired 7 lakh shares (0.97 percent stake) in Ashish Kacholia-backed Dudigital Global, a visa processing services provider, from Legends Global Opportunities (Singapore) for Rs 2.94 crore. The shares were exchanged at Rs 42 per share.

Legends Global Opportunities (Singapore) held a 4.43 percent stake in Dudigital Global as of September 2025.

As per the bulk and block deals data available on the exchanges, Rashesh Chandrakant Shah has acquired 1 crore equity shares (equivalent to 1.05 percent of paid-up equity) in Edelweiss Financial Services for Rs 118 crore from Venkatchalam Arakoni Ramaswamy.

Both promoters and founders exchanged the above-mentioned shares at a price of Rs 118 per share.

Meanwhile, Radiant Global Fund-Class B Participating Shares have bought 7 lakh shares (0.97 percent stake) in ace investor Ashish Kacholia-backed Dudigital Global, the visa processing services provider, from Legends Global Opportunities (Singapore) for Rs 2.94 crore. They exchanged shares at Rs 42 per share.

Legends Global Opportunities (Singapore) was holding 4.43 percent stake in Dudigital Global as of September 2025.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticalsdrugs/cohancelifesciences/SP19">Cohance Lifesciences</a> also saw exchange of shares between the entities related to Jasti family, the old promoters of Suven Pharma which was merged with Cohance Lifesciences after acquisition by Advent International.

Jasub Property Holdings LLP has acquired 77 lakh shares (2.01 percent stake) in the Advent International-backed company for Rs 235.62 crore from Jasti Family Trust at Rs 306 per share.

Last week, on February 18, these entities had exchanged 1.82 percent stake in pharma company Cohance Lifesciences. As of December 2025, Jasti Property and Equity Holdings, the sole trustee of the Jasti Family Trust which owns Suven Life Sciences, held 6.41 percent stake in Cohance Lifesciences.

Cohance Lifesciences shares rose 2.85 percent to Rs 314.1 amid high volumes on the NSE.

The exchange of shares was also seen in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/paintsvarnishes/asianpaints/AP31">Asian Paints</a>, and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/mediaentertainment/network18mediainvestments/NMI">Network 18 Media &amp; Investments</a>.

Upnishad Holdings has bought 3.25 lakh shares in Asian Paints from Smiti Holding and Trading Company at Rs 2,410 per share, valued at Rs 78.3 crore. Both are promoter entities of the paint company.

In Network 18 Media &amp; Investments, Nexg Ventures India has acquired 71 lakh shares (0.46 percent stake) for Rs 25.2 crore from Arizona Globalservices. The transaction price was Rs 35.5 per share.

Nexg Ventures India was holding 3.02 percent stake in Network 18 Media, while Arizona Globalservices held 2 percent shares, as of December 2025.
