Dovetail India Fund has acquired over half a percent stake in Welspun Specialty Solutions, the alloy and stainless steel products maker, via open market transactions on February 10.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/steel-tubespipes/welspunspecialtysolutions/RMG">Welspun Specialty Solutions</a> shares corrected sharply by 9.09 percent to Rs 37.51 on the BSE, falling decisively below short term moving averages.

Dovetail India Fund has bought 35.52 lakh shares (0.53 percent of paid-up equity) for Rs 14.92 crore, however, Hanuman Freight &amp; Carriers pared its stake in the company by offloading 35.5 lakh shares (0.53 percent stake) for Rs 14.91 crore. The transactions took place at Rs 42 per share.

Hanuman Freight was holding 1.32 percent equity stake in Welspun Specialty Solutions as of December 2025.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/bartronicsindia/BI21">Bartronics India</a> shares remained under pressure for third consecutive session, declining 7.66 percent to Rs 12.05 on the NSE. Scan Help Technologies offloaded further 16.03 lakh shares (0.52 percent stake) in the company at Rs 12.16 per share, valued at Rs 1.95 crore.

With this stake sale, in current month, Scan Help sold total 1.92 percent stake in Bartronics India, the automatic identification and data capture solutions provider. It was holding 4.56 percent shares in the company as of December 2025.

Meanwhile, Quadrature Capital Vector SP, which was holding 1.1 percent stake (1.8 lakh shares) as of December 2025, sold 95,649 shares in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/steel-crhr-strips/mahamayasteelindustries/MSI11">Mahamaya Steel Industries</a> at Rs 683.59 per share, valued at Rs 6.5 crore. Despite this stake sale, the stock was up 1.79 percent at Rs 700 on the NSE.

Promoter Nimbus India has acquired additional 2.01 lakh units (0.89 percent stake) in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/finance-investments/industrialinvestmenttrust/IIT01">Industrial Investment Trust</a> at Rs 141.11 per unit, amounting to Rs 2.8 crore, which is in addition to 2.01 lakh units bought in previous session. It gained 0.24 percent to finish at Rs 140.27.

Dovetail India Fund has acquired over half a percent stake in Welspun Specialty Solutions, the alloy and stainless steel products maker, via open market transactions on February 10.

Welspun Specialty Solutions shares corrected sharply by 9.09 percent to Rs 37.51 on the BSE, falling decisively below short term moving averages.

Earlier during the session, the stock jumped further to hit a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/markets/q3-results-impact-samvardhana-motherson-shares-jump-5-sansera-engg-wakefit-rally-up-to-12-13821629.html">fresh 52-week high</a>, after the company reported a 16.5 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,024 crore for Q3 FY26.

Tube Investments of India shares rose over 3.5 percent to Rs 2,444.90 apiece, while <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-lcvshcvs/ashokleyland/AL">Ashok Leyland</a> and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-ancillaries-head-lampslights/unominda/MI4">Uno Minda</a> shares gained more than 2 percent each. Mahindra and Mahindra (M&amp;M), Bajaj Auto and Bharat Forge shares rose nearly 2 percent each.

Royal Enfield-maker <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-lcvshcvs/eichermotors/EM">Eicher Motors</a> and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-carsjeeps/marutisuzukiindia/MS24">Maruti Suzuki</a> shares rose more than 1 percent each, while Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles shares closed in the green with marginal gains.

Bucking the trend, Sona BLW Precision Forgings, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company, Bosch and Exide Industries shares closed in the red with marginal losses.
<h3><strong>Why are auto, auto ancillary stocks rising?</strong></h3>
India and US last week announced that they have reached a framework for an Interim Agreement regarding reciprocal and mutually beneficial trade. “Today’s framework reaffirms the countries’ commitment to the broader U.S.-India Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) negotiations, launched by President Donald J. Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13, 2025, which will include additional market access commitments and support more resilient supply chains,” the countries said in a joint statement.

As part of the framework, India will receive a preferential tariff rate quota for automotive parts subject to the tariff imposed. This will likely deliver some relief to India’s auto component makers.
<h3><strong>Nomura on auto ancillary stocks:</strong></h3>
Nomura said that the trade deal with US and depreciating rupee will help Indian auto parts exporters gain US market share. It noted that the levy on auto parts under the trade framework is significantly lower that the earlier 25 percent, albeit with a quota.

In 2023, before US tariffs were imposed on Indian goods, India accounted for 2 percent of U.S. auto parts imports, less than Mexico, Canada, China, Japan and Germany share, the international brokerage said.

According to Nomura, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/castingsforgings/bharatforge/BF03">Bharat Forge</a>, Sona BLW, Balkrishna Industries and Sansera Engineering are expected to benefit the most. It added that improved trade would support local demand for commercial vehicles, benefitting Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors (Commercial Vehicles).

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose more than 9 percent YoY to Rs 421.34 crore during the quarter under review.

The newly-listed company’s operating EBITDA surged 423 percent to Rs 41.64 crore, while operating EBITDA margin improved to 2.1 percent in Q3 FY26.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose nearly 25 percent YoY to Rs 907.67 crore during the quarter under review.

EBITDA grew 29 percent YoY to Rs 163.9 crore, and EBITDA margin improved to 18.1 percent.

“I am thrilled to update you that Sansera has set a new quarterly performance benchmark for revenue and EBITDA at INR 9,077 Mn and EBITDA of INR 1,639 Mn (18.1% margin), respectively. The shares of Zomato-parent Eternal and Swiggy surged in trade, rising to multi-week highs on February 10. Multiple factors led to the uptrend in the food delivery and quick commerce stocks today.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/online-services/eternal/Z">Eternal</a> shares jumped more than 6 percent to trade at Rs 307.45 apiece on Tuesday, the highest level seen by the stock since November 21.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/online-services/swiggy/SL24">Swiggy</a> shares meanwhile surged more than 5 percent to trade at Rs 350.95 apiece, the highest level in nearly a month.
<h3><strong>Eternal’s new AI tool:</strong></h3>
Zomato on Monday said it has launched a dedicated AI-powered hotline (89200 89200) to simplify the onboarding process for delivery partners, Business Standard reported. According to a company statement quoted by the site, “the call initiates an AI-enabled WhatsApp journey where onboarding and background verification unfold in minutes”.

This comes a year after the company launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered customer support platform for businesses across the globe. “Introducing Nugget – an AI-native, no-code customer support platform. Nugget helps scale support effortlessly – highly customizable, low-cost, no developer team needed. No rigid workflows, just seamless automation,” Goyal said in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
<h3><strong>Domestic MFs hike holdings in new age companies, says report:</strong></h3>
Additionally, a report by Economic Times claimed that domestic mutual funds held shares worth around Rs 1.77 lakh crore in around 12 new-age companies at the end of 2025. This is around double of the Rs 95,000 crore shares held in the same time last year, the report added.

According to the publication, Eternal and Swiggy are among the key names in which these mutual fund houses accumulated significant stakes.

Eternal, which is part of the benchmark Nifty 50 index, accounted for more than 40 percent of total mutual fund holdings in new-age companies, the report said, adding that these funds were major buyers in Swiggy’s Ra 10,000-crore share sale in December last year.
<h3><strong>Block deals:</strong></h3>
Eternal and Swiggy shares also saw several block deals being executed on the markets today, further pushing their shares higher up.

Nearly 1.19 crore shares of Eternal changed hands in multiple block deals, according to official market data. At the previous closing price of Rs 288.85 apiece, these shares would be cumulatively worth more than Rs 344 crore.

Swiggy meanwhile saw more than 21.60 lakh shares changing hands in six large block deals. At the previous closing price of Rs 333.70 apiece, these shares would be cumulatively worth around Rs 72.08 crore.

Tracxn Technologies share price hit the 20 percent upper circuit in early trade on Tuesday a day after ace investor Mukul Mahavir Agrawal bought 20 lakh shares of the company for Rs 6.6 crore through a bulk deal.

The stock opened with a gap-up gain of 6.46 percent and advanced to an intraday high of Rs 40.68 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), marking a 20 percent jump, which is also its upper circuit limit.

The stock has been on an upward trajectory for the past two trading sessions.

At around 12:30 pm, the shares pared some gains and were trading at Rs 37.50 per share, still up 10.62 percent.

The sharp rise came after Agrawal purchased 20,00,000 shares at Rs 33 per share on Monday, amounting to a total investment of Rs 6.6 crore, as per bulk deal data.

According to BSE shareholding data, Agrawal held 20 lakh shares, or a 1.88 percent stake, in the company as of December 31, 2025.

Bengaluru-based Tracxn Technologies operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and provides market intelligence on private companies.

The company was founded in 2015 by Neha Singh and Abhishek Goyal, both former venture capitalists with Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners, respectively. Tracxn made its stock market debut in 2022 following its initial public offering.

Agrawal also bought shares of Laxmi India Finance at Rs 92.55 per share. As of December 31, 2025, he held 20 lakh shares in the company, representing a 3.83 per cent equity stake.
