Natco Pharma, along with its partner Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, Inc., has launched Pomalidomide Capsules, a generic version of Pomalyst by Celgene, in the United States, according to the company’s exchange filing.

Pomalidomide Capsules, a thalidomide analogue, are indicated for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least two prior therapies, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor, and have demonstrated disease progression on or within 60 days of completion of the last therapy.

The drug is also approved for AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma after failure of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), as well as for HIV-negative adult patients with Kaposi sarcoma. The product is available in 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg and 4 mg strengths and is primarily distributed through specialty pharmacies and clinics.

At the time of incorporation, Cipla will subscribe to 6,000 shares of ₹10 each at par, amounting to ₹60,000.

The joint venture will undertake the business of developing, applying for and obtaining licenses for, and manufacturing, commercialising, importing and exporting biologic products. It will also engage in licensing or outsourcing any or all of such activities.

Kemwell is an Asia-based biologics CDMO offering end-to-end services for global biopharma clients. Its Bengaluru-based cGMP facility, certified by the USFDA, houses 5,000-litre bioreactor capacity, sterile fill–finish capabilities, and advanced development laboratories for protein therapeutics.

The company supports commercial manufacturing as well as R&amp;D and clinical programs for novel biologics and biosimilars.

Pranav Niranjan Pandya sold 15 lakh shares at Rs 23.4 per share, Kruti Pranav Pandya offloaded 6.24 lakh shares at Rs 23.5 per share, and Jaimin Jagdishbhai Shah sold 29.64 lakh shares at Rs 23.25 per share.

While clarifying reports of Indonesia putting vehicle import orders on hold, the company said it has ascertained from PT Indonesia that media reports in Indonesia (reproduced in India) reflect a domestic policy discussion on imports and local manufacturing, not demand or execution risk of the order received.

“The order and advance we have received remain programme-driven, and we intend to begin supplies soon and complete deliveries in a phased manner as per our commitment,” it added.

On February 10, the company’s subsidiary, PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia, entered into an agreement for the supply of 70,000 vehicles for deployment in Indonesia.

The decline comes after several domestic carriers extended cancellations of flights to and from West Asia due to airspace restrictions in the region after military action by the US and Israel against Iran.

On the BSE, shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/transportlogistics/spicejet/SJ01">SpiceJet</a> dropped over 8 percent to Rs 14.72 per share. The stock opened 4.79 percent lower and extended losses during the session, snapping a three-day gaining streak. The airline cancelled all inbound and outbound flights to West Asia till Tuesday.

"Passengers are advised to check their flight status before proceeding to the airport," the company said in an advisory posted on social media platform X.

Shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/transportlogistics/interglobeaviation/IA04">InterGlobe Aviation</a>, the parent of IndiGo, declined nearly 7 percent to Rs 4,500 per share on the NSE. The stock opened 6.78 percent lower and has been under pressure for the past three sessions.

"In view of the prevailing situation, the temporary suspension of select international flights that use Middle East airspace has been extended until March 2, 2026, 2359 hrs IST," the airline said in a post on X. The carrier said it is offering waivers for travel to and from West Asia and other affected international sectors for bookings made on or before last Saturday. Passengers can opt for a full refund or reschedule without additional charges, it added.

Tourism stocks also declined as shares of Ixigo fell more than 5 percent to Rs 161.59 apiece on the NSE. India Tourism Development Corp fell 5 percent to Rs 499.80 per share. Easy Trip Planners stock was down 8 percent to Rs 7.94 per share on the NSE.

Railway-related stocks also traded lower amid concerns that prolonged disruptions in air travel could impact passenger movement and last-mile connectivity. Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd dropped to its fresh 52-week low at Rs 295.20 per share, down 6.69 percent.

Shares of Indian Railways Finance Corporation (IRFC) are down 5 percent. The decline was also due to a tepid response to this Offer For Sale (OFS).
