The company’s strong Tata Group parentage, AAA credit rating, and a well-diversified borrowing profile have helped it maintain one of the lowest funding costs in the industry, giving it a substantial competitive edge. Its conservative underwriting approach has ensured pristine asset quality across cycles, excluding the TMFL portfolio.

According to HDFC Securities, after completing the merger with TMFL and earlier amalgamations of TCFSL and TCCL, Tata Capital is positioned for stable operating performance through FY26–FY28, supported by a trusted brand, expanding distribution, and improving operating efficiencies. The brokerage notes that Tata Capital now stands among a group of corporate-sponsored NBFCs that have engineered a successful turnaround driven by refreshed leadership and revised strategic direction.

Tata Capital’s portfolio mix remains well-balanced, with retail accounting for 62 percent, SME 26 percent, and corporate 11 percent as of March 2025. Its risk-calibrated strategy, backed by a robust underwriting engine and a focus on low-risk segments, has contributed to healthy asset quality and steady credit costs (excluding TMFL). While portfolio yields are relatively modest at around 12 percent owing to the asset mix, the company’s strong operating efficiencies and low cost of funds are expected to support RoA of 2–2.2 percent and RoE of about 15 percent.

The AI-powered technology services and consulting company announced a multi-year engagement with Odido Netherlands BV to transform its IT landscape and enhance customer experience across its enterprise and consumer segments.

Adani Enterprises

Adani Group will acquire a 72.8% stake in Flight Simulation Technique Centre (FSTC) for Rs 820 crore. FSTC operates 11 advanced full-flight simulators and 17 training aircraft, providing training ranging from commercial pilot licences to type ratings, recurrent training, and specialised skill courses, reports PTI.

Ashoka Buildcon

The company has received a Show Cause Notice (SCN) regarding the construction of the six-lane Elevated Corridor from Aroor to Thuravoor Thekku section of NH-66. The SCN pertains to an incident involving the fall of two precast PSC girders, one of which fell onto a commercial vehicle, causing the fatality of the driver.

The company is temporarily suspended from participating in ongoing or future NHAI bids for one month or until completion of the investigation by the Expert Committee, whichever is later.

Zydus Lifesciences

The company has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Empagliflozin and Linagliptin tablets, 10 mg/5 mg and 25 mg/5 mg.

These tablets, used to improve glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, recorded annual sales of $215.8 million in the United States (as per IQVIA MAT September 2025).

Rail Vikas Nigam

The company has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from East Coast Railway for a project worth Rs 9.64 crore. The project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system for rolling stock of ECoR.

Tata Technologies

The global product engineering and digital services company announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% equity shares of Es-Tec GmbH and its subsidiaries (Es-Tec Group).

The transaction is valued at Euro 75 million, with pay-outs linked to performance milestones.

Refex Industries

The company has secured an order worth Rs 100 crore from a large business conglomerate for excavation, loading, and transportation of pond ash/bottom ash.

Bajaj Healthcare

The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Shreekumar Shankarnarayan Nair as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior Management Personnel of the company, effective November 27.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals

The Goods &amp;amp; Service Tax Department, Mumbai, conducted an inspection at the company’s offices during November 24–26.

The company has provided all necessary documents, clarifications, and details as requested. No official document has been issued regarding any adverse findings.

There is no material impact on the company’s financials, operations, or other activities due to the inspection.

Bombay Dyeing &amp;amp; Manufacturing Company

The company’s Patalganga plant will be temporarily shut down for planned maintenance activities from November 28 to December 18.

This will result in a production shortfall of approximately 7,500 metric tons; however, the company has sufficient reserve stock of polyester staple fibre (PSF) to meet customer requirements. Consequently, there will be no adverse impact on supply commitments during this period.

The mid-scale and premium hotel chain has signed two new hotel properties—Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport, and Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar.

Bandhan Bank

The Board has approved the proposal to sell identified non-performing assets (NPA) amounting to Rs 3,212.17 crore and written-off portfolios worth Rs 3,719.14 crore through a bidding process involving Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARC) or permitted transferees. The loan portfolios belong to the emerging entrepreneurs business, including group loans, small business and agri loans, and the aspiring business group of the bank.

Bulk Deals

CarTrade Tech

Smallcap World Fund, an affiliate of Capital Group, has acquired 14.44 lakh shares (equivalent to a 3.03% stake) in CarTrade Tech, the multi-channel auto platform, for Rs 439.9 crore at a price of Rs 3,044.58 per share.

However, Goldman Sachs sold a total of 10.71 lakh shares (a 2.25% stake) in CarTrade through three transactions for Rs 326.18 crore. These shares were sold at Rs 3,044.49 per share.

As of September 2025, Goldman Sachs Emerging Markets Equity Portfolio and Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio held a combined 2.72% stake in the company.

Whirlpool of India

Whirlpool Mauritius offloaded 1.42 crore shares (11.23% stake) in the Indian subsidiary for Rs 1,489.6 crore, reducing its holding well below 50%, compared to its 51% shareholding in September 2025.

The bulk of the shares was sold at Rs 1,044.97 per share.

East Bridge Capital Master Fund, Franklin Templeton MF, HDFC MF, Kotak Mahindra MF, Societe Generale ODI, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company collectively acquired a 4.4% stake for nearly Rs 582 crore. These shares were purchased at Rs 1,041 per share.

Saregama India

Amansa Holding, founded by Akash Prakash, sold 24.58 lakh shares of Saregama India (1.2% of paid-up equity) for Rs 95.04 crore at a price of Rs 386.58 per share.

As of September 2025, Amansa Holding held a 2.75% stake in the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group company.

MTAR Technologies

Promoter Kavitha Reddy Gangapatnam sold 2.45 lakh shares of MTAR for Rs 60 crore, equivalent to 0.8% of paid-up equity. Total promoter shareholding stood at 31.41% as of September 2025, including 1.6% held by Kavitha Reddy Gangapatnam.

Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund and Motilal Oswal MF were the buyers of the 0.8% stake, acquiring 40,920 shares for Rs 10 crore and 2.04 lakh shares for nearly Rs 50 crore, respectively.
