Netherlands-based promoter Sagility B V has offloaded 16.4 percent equity stake in Sagility that provides technology-enabled business solutions and services to clients in the US healthcare industry, via open market transactions on November 14.

Despite this big stake sale, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/sagility/SIL27">Sagility</a> shares rallied 5.6 percent to Rs 53.28 with above-average volumes, witnessing a strong breakout after consolidation seen in the past couple of weeks.

Sagility B V sold 76.9 crore equity shares (equivalent to 16.4 percent of paid-up equity) at Rs 47.6 per share, valued at Rs 3,660.44 crore.

As of September 2025, promoter held 67.38 percent stake in Sagility, which now reduced to around 51 percent.

However, global and domestic institutional investors were buyers for some portion of the stake sold by promoter at same price in Sagility. Portfolio management company Unifi Capital and its Unifi Blend Fund 2 were the largest buyer amongst them, acquiring 22.05 crore shares (4.71 percent stake) at same price, valued at Rs 1,049.65 crore.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 3.13 crore shares in Sagility for Rs 149.39 crore, while Societe Generale picked up 8.48 crore shares for Rs 403.75 crore.

Further, Norges Bank on account of the Government Pension Fund Global purchased 3.71 crore shares amounting to Rs 176.59 crore, and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore acquired 2.76 crore shares for Rs 131.47 crore.

Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/cement-major/rainindustries/RC12">Rain Industries</a> was also in action, falling 2.44 percent to Rs 116.87, and extending downtrend for eighth consecutive session. First Water Fund, owned by First Water Capital Advisors, bought additional 26 lakh shares (0.77 percent stake) in the calcined petroleum coke, coal tar pitch and other specialty chemicals producer at Rs 120 per share for Rs 31.2 crore.

Haresh Tikamdas Kaswani, and K2 Family Private Trust were the sellers in this block deal, offloading 12 lakh shares for Rs 14.4 crore and 14 lakh shares for Rs 16.8 crore, respectively, in Rain Industries.

The brisk action was also seen in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/trading/shailyengineeringplastics/SEP02">Shaily Engineering Plastics</a>, the injection moulded precision plastic components maker, which ended at new closing high of Rs 2,622.8, up 0.47 percent. Promoters - Amit Mahendra Sanghvi, and Laxman Sanghvi sold 1.5 lakh shares (0.32 percent stake) at Rs 2,585.1 per share for Rs 38.77 crore.

Morgan Stanley IFSC Fund, SI Investments Broking, and Motilal Oswal MF picked the said 0.32 percent stake in Shaily from promoters.

The small block deal was also seen in <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/finance-others/pinelabs/PLL01">Pine Labs</a>, the fintech company, which surged 13.52 percent to Rs 250.89 on its market debut today. Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) picked up 14.09 lakh shares (0.1 percent stake) in the company at Rs 257.5 per share for Rs 36.28 crore from UBS AG.

Net Advances increased 16 percent YoY to Rs 462,688 crore as at September 30, 2025 from Rs 399,522 crore as at September 30, 2024.

Analysts however advised caution, citing stretched valuations and other concerns, while recommending the investment strategy different kinds of investors should take post-listing.

The newly-listed stock hit an intraday high of Rs 283.70 apiece on its debut day, marking a rise of more than 28 percent from the stock's IPO price of Rs 221 apiece.

Pine Labs market debut:

The <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/ipo/pine-labs-shares-list-at-9-5-premium-to-ipo-price-on-bse-beat-grey-market-expectations-13675459.html">decent market debut</a> and the subsequent sharp gains have beaten grey market estimates. Ahead of listing, the shares of the company were trading with a little more than 2 percent grey market premium (GMP) over the IPO price.

This comes after the Rs 3,900-crore IPO of the company was subscribed nearly 2.5 times its offer size between November 7 and November 11. The stock's market capitalisation during debut stood at around Rs 27,800 crore.

Here's what analysts say:

Pine Labs has made a splash in the IPO market, listing at a premium and signalling renewed investor confidence in India’s fintech story, said Jickson Sajee, Research Analyst, INVasset PMS.

The analyst however advised some some caution. "While the revenue growth and first-profit milestone are positives, the IPO values the business aggressively relative to peers — implied P/E multiples run into the thousands if annualised from Q1 profits. Pine Labs also cut its IPO size: existing shareholders trimmed their offer by 44% and the fresh issue by 20%, reflecting the management’s willingness to reduce dilution. Major backers such as PayPal and Mastercard, which had invested when valuations were much lower, now sit on significant paper gains post-listing," he said.

Here's what long-term investors should do:

Sajee said that for long-term investors, the call turns on execution - accelerating device rollouts, deepening merchant relationships, and converting scale into sustained free cash flow will determine whether the stock justifies its premium or becomes a cautionary tale of hopes priced ahead of proof.

Investors will have to carefully evaluate two things, profitability visibility and competitive intensity from UPI-led innovations, said Siddharth Maurya, Founder &amp; Managing Director, Vibhavangal Anukulakara. "The success of the IPO will lie in whether the valuation meaningfully reflects Pine Labs' shift toward subscription-led and omnichannel revenue. If execution stays strong, Pine Labs could emerge as one of India's few scalable fintech platforms. But for long-term investors, it is not brand strength that should attract them, but rather the fundamentals," he added.

New investors advised to wait to post-listing corrections:

Prashanth Tapse, Senior Vice President (Research) at Mehta Equities, said the IPO appeared "slightly priced on the higher side". "Considering Pine Labs' leadership in its segment and focus on technology-driven, high-margin solutions, we recommend that only risk-taking investors hold the stock with a long-term view. New investors may consider waiting for post-listing corrections as a potential entry point," he said.

"Customer acquisition and growing number of digital transactions indicate that underlying prospects (for Pine Labs) are strong," said Deven Choksey managing director at DRChoksey FinServ. "The challenge is making money on a sustainable basis and then valuations,” he said.

Valuation frenzy:

"There is a valuation frenzy across most consumer-driven technology companies as investors want to have them in their portfolios and they pay premium for that," Choksey added.

The challenge for Pine Labs now lies in proving the durability of the momentum—sustaining revenue growth, delivering clean operating profits, and scaling its lending and SaaS verticals alongside its core payments business, said Harshal Dasani, Business Head, INVasset PMS. "If the profit trajectory continues, Pine Labs’ debut could redefine how India’s fintechs balance growth with disciplined profitability in public markets," he added.

"Despite the strong debut, investors remain cautious because of competitive intensity in fintech/merchant commerce, regulatory-risk in payments, and the need to deliver scaled profitability. The IPO attracted meaningful institutional participation, supported by expectations of continued growth in digital-payments adoption, merchant value-added services expansion, and improved operating leverage. Investors/traders allotted shares may consider booking part of the gain and holding the remainder for the medium to long term, with a stop-loss of 200," said Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd.

Motilal Oswal remains ‘Neutral’ on the stock, with a target price of Rs 341 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 6 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

The domestic brokerage said that the key concern for Tata Motors’ CV business is its gradual loss of market share across key segments. It added that what was most concerning was the firm’s market share loss in LCV goods from a high of 40 percent in FY22 to 27 percent now, with the gap with current market leader Mahindra &amp; Mahindra (M&amp;M) rising with every passing year.

“A key focus area for the CV entity is to sustain robust financial performance by consistently delivering double-digit EBITDA margins, healthy cash flows and strong ROCE,” it said.

The shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/domestic-appliances/lgelectronicsindia/LEI">LG Electronics India</a> dropped nearly 5 percent on November 14 after the company released sharp fall in net profit and contraction in margins for the second quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026.

The newly-listed shares of the Korean electronics brand hit an intraday low of Rs 1,590 apiece, only 0.6 percent away from its 52-week low of Rs 1,581.10 apiece. The stock later made some recovery and was trading around 3 percent lower in the red at Rs 1,624.30 apiece, as seen at 12.45 pm.

LG Electronics Q2 Results:

LG Electronics India on November 13 reported a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/lg-electronics-india-net-profit-declines-27-to-rs-389-crore-revenue-rises-marginally-to-rs-6-174-crore-13674602.html">net profit</a> of Rs 389 crore for the July-September quarter of FY26. This marks a 27 percent year-on-year (YoY) decline from the Rs 535.7 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile rose less than 1 percent YoY to Rs 6,174 crore during the quarter under review. Expenses grew 5 percent YoY to Rs 5,728.95 crore, while EBITDA fell nearly 28 percent to Rs 548 crore. EBITDA margin dropped to 8.9 percent.

“Despite a challenging demand environment, LGEIL recorded resilient topline growth. This performance reflects the company’s underlying strength and consumer confidence in brand. The EBITDA margin drop was a result of the combined impact of rising commodity prices and incremental investments in festive go-to-market initiatives, to support the company’s distributors during tough market conditions,” LG Electronics India said in a press release.

Motilal Oswal on LG Electronics India:

Motilal Oswal Financial Services said that the margin contraction was driven by higher commodity costs and increased investments in festive go-to-market initiatives aimed at supporting distributors amid challenging market conditions. It however noted that the firm’s market share in TV, refrigerators, RAC and washing machine had improved during the quarter.

The domestic brokerage has a ‘Buy’ call for the stock. “Margins were impacted by higher input and recycling costs, and festive spends. Looking ahead, demand is expected to stay strong, supported by the GST rate cut and festive momentum. With a two-track strategy of expanding LG Essential for value seekers and introducing new premium ranges, the company aims to capture niche demand and drive growth in underpenetrated markets,” it said.

“After a challenging quarter marked by subdued market conditions, LGEIL reported a contraction in margins. However, the company remains optimistic about the outlook, supported by festive and wedding season demand and its plans to expand in the B2B segment,” it added.
