The shares of the jewellery and watch-maker hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 4,378.40 apiece in the morning trading hours of Wednesday.
<h3>Titan Q3 Results:</h3>
Titan Company on February 10 reported a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/earnings/titan-q3-results-net-profit-rises-61-to-rs-1-684-crore-on-high-gold-prices-revenue-up-43-13820955.html">consolidated net profit of Rs 1,684 crore </a>for the October-December quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026. This marks a 61 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 1,047 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 43 percent YoY to Rs 25,416 crore during the quarter under review, from Rs 17,740 crore in the same period last year.

The company said that its jewellery business recorded exceptional growth, showcasing resilience in a high gold environment. It also reported healthy growth in other consumer businesses, which powered overall results.

Jewellery portfolio grew 42 percent YoY to Rs 22,517 crore (excluding bullion and digi-gold soles) driven by blockbuster festive collections, impactful brand campaigns and powerful exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand amid high gold prices, the company said.

Driven by festive gifting and consumer preference for analog timepieces, Titan's watches portfolio grew 14 percent to Rs 1,295 crore.
<h3>Nomura on Titan:</h3>
Nomura kept a ‘Buy’ call on Titan shares, with a target price of Rs 4,500 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 5 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 4,269.1 apiece.

The international brokerage said that the company delivered strong overall consolidated revenue and EBITDA growth of 42 percent and 41 percent YoY. It added that the company’s jewellery segment posted a strong performance on both sales and margins.

Nomura added that Titan’s watches segment saw continued strong momentum in analog, while wearables remained impacted.
<h3>CLSA on Titan:</h3>
CLSA kept an ‘Outperform’ call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,369 apiece. This implies an upside potential of more than 2 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

The international brokerage said that the company’s standalone sales grew 40 percent YoY, while jewellery’s standalone ales rose 42 percent YoY. It said that jewellery business’ margin remained largely in-line with market expectations.

Absolute jewellery business EBIT was 18 percent ahead of estimates, CLSA added.
<h3>Motilal Oswal on Titan:</h3>
Motilal Oswal said that Titan reported stellar growth, beating its estimates on profitability. “The growth was driven by festive collections, impactful brand campaigns, and effective exchange initiatives, underscoring strong festive demand despite high gold prices,” it said.

“Tanishq’s attractive exchange program (launched in Sep’25) drove sizeable consumer traction and was well supported by exhibitions/onground launches of high-value collections, delivering substantial growth for the portfolio,” it added.

UBS said that the company's stellar Q3 earnings beat expectations by wide margin. It kept a 'Buy' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 5,000 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 17 percent from the stock's previous closing price.

Goldman Sachs meanwhile said that the company delivered strong broad-based beat on elevated expectations. It however awaits management commentary on sustainability of growth.

Macquarie kept its 'Outperform' call on the stock, with a target price of Rs 4,450 apiece. This implies an upside potential of 4 percent. It said that demand scenario clarity post recent volatility in gold prices, jewellery margin outlook are key monitorables.

The floor price for the offer has been fixed at Rs 254 per share.

Royal Enfield-maker <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-lcvshcvs/eichermotors/EM">Eicher Motors</a> and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-carsjeeps/marutisuzukiindia/MS24">Maruti Suzuki</a> shares rose more than 1 percent each, while Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles shares closed in the green with marginal gains.

Bucking the trend, Sona BLW Precision Forgings, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company, Bosch and Exide Industries shares closed in the red with marginal losses.
<h3>Why are auto, auto ancillary stocks rising?</h3>
India and US last week announced that they have reached a framework for an Interim Agreement regarding reciprocal and mutually beneficial trade. “Today’s framework reaffirms the countries’ commitment to the broader U.S.-India Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) negotiations, launched by President Donald J. Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13, 2025, which will include additional market access commitments and support more resilient supply chains,” the countries said in a joint statement.

As part of the framework, India will receive a preferential tariff rate quota for automotive parts subject to the tariff imposed. This will likely deliver some relief to India’s auto component makers.
<h3>Nomura on auto ancillary stocks:</h3>
Nomura said that the trade deal with US and depreciating rupee will help Indian auto parts exporters gain US market share. It noted that the levy on auto parts under the trade framework is significantly lower that the earlier 25 percent, albeit with a quota.

In 2023, before US tariffs were imposed on Indian goods, India accounted for 2 percent of U.S. auto parts imports, less than Mexico, Canada, China, Japan and Germany share, the international brokerage said.

According to Nomura, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/castingsforgings/bharatforge/BF03">Bharat Forge</a>, Sona BLW, Balkrishna Industries and Sansera Engineering are expected to benefit the most. It added that improved trade would support local demand for commercial vehicles, benefitting Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors (Commercial Vehicles).

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/tyres/balkrishnaindustries/BI03">Balkrishna Industries</a> and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/auto-ancillaries-others/sanseraengineering/SE27">Sansera Engineering</a> shares, which are not part of the Nifty Auto index, rose more than 1 percent and 6 percent respectively on February 10.

Nifty Auto has gained more than 2 percent in two sessions.

Auto index rises for 2nd day; Indian auto parts exporters to gain US market share after trade deal, Nomura says

The shares of auto and auto ancillary companies gained in trend, pushing the Nifty Auto index higher up for the second consecutive session after India and US announced the framework of their much-awaited trade deal.

The Nifty Auto index rose nearly 1.4 percent (around 382 points) to close at 28,173.20 on Tuesday.

Samvardhana Motherson International shares closed as the top gainers on the index today, jumping more than 4 percent to close at Rs 129.80 apiece. Earlier during the session, the stock jumped further to hit a fresh 52-week high, after the company reported a 16.5 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,024 crore for Q3 FY26.

Tube Investments of India shares rose over 3.5 percent to Rs 2,444.90 apiece, while Ashok Leyland and Uno Minda shares gained more than 2 percent each. Mahindra and Mahindra (M&amp;amp;M), Bajaj Auto and Bharat Forge shares rose nearly 2 percent each.
