Analysts have advised which strategy investors should take for the newly-listed stock.

The shares of the company listed at Rs 505 apiece on NSE on Wednesday, marking a premium of more than 27 percent from the IPO price of Rs 397 apiece. After hitting a low of Rs 480.10 apiece, the stock recovered more than 7 percent to hit a day’s high at Rs 517 apiece.

"The IPO attracted solid institutional interest, driven by expectations of steady demand for emission-control systems and operational gains as scale improves. Allottees may consider booking partial gains and holding the rest with a stop-loss near Rs 480 apiece," she said.

Siddharth Maurya, Founder &amp; Managing Director at Vibhavangal Anukulakara said that the strong market debut in a choppy market is not luck – it is a signal that the market is hungry for profitable, tech-intensive manufacturing stories.

'Challenge now is proving that it can grow without overstretching balance sheet'

"Tenneco has a strong ROCE profile and deep OEM relationships, giving it a head start. If the company maintains order book visibility and executes cleanly on emission-related product demand, then there is room for long-term value creation. The challenge now is proving that this business can grow without overstretching the balance sheet," Maurya said.

"The company's strong leadership in clean air and advanced automotive components, rising demand for SUVs and premium vehicles, a strategically diversified product portfolio, long-standing partnerships with OEMs, and access to global R&amp;D put it in a good position to capitalize on both domestic growth and export opportunities," said Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer from Master Capital Services.

'Non-allotted investors should wait for dip':

Singh advised investors who have received allotments to book partial profit at listing premium, and keep the rest for long-term. On the other hand, those who did not get shares in IPO may wait for dip, according to the analyst.

At the end of the debut day, the stock surged further to close at Rs 156.49 apiece, marking a rise of nearly 44 percent from its IPO price.

The stock however lost steam on Day 2. PhysicsWallah shares dropped nearly 6 percent to trade at Rs 146.36 apiece. The stock is still up more than 34 percent from its IPO price of Rs 109 apiece, but is only marginally higher than its listing price.

Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart, had noted that competition from other edtech and offline coaching giants, regulatory uncertainties in the education sector, and the challenge of sustaining profitability during expansion remain key risks for the firm’s growth.

The analyst had advised allotted investors to book partial profits and hold the remaining shares for medium-term growth with a stop loss at Rs 130 apiece.

Siddharth Maurya, Founder &amp; Managing Director at Vibhavangal Anukulakara also advised caution. He noted that at current valuations, the real test is how a business converts millions of free users into paying subscribers while tightening its cost structure. "If PhysicsWallah manages to prove that regional expansion and hybrid models can give steady margins, it earns long-term credibility," he added.

Lenskart Solutions shares had made a <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/markets/lenskart-shares-list-at-3-discount-despite-28x-subscription-this-brokerage-says-sell-sees-up-to-14-downside-13662988.html">weak market debut</a> on November 10, listing at a discount of nearly 3 percent over its IPO price at Rs 390 apiece on BSE. On NSE, the shares were listed with a discount of around 2 percent at Rs 395 apiece.

After its market debut, the stock jumped around 11 percent to hit a high of Rs 438.85 apiece on NSE on November 17. The stock then fell more than 1.5 percent on November 18, and another 4 percent on November 19 to trade at Rs 409.30 apiece.

Ambit Capital had issued a 'Sell' call on Lenskart shares, even before the stock made its much-anticipated market debut. This is a rare occasion when a brokerage issued a ‘Sell’ call on a stock even before it hit the stock markets.

The brokerage kept a target price of Rs 337 apiece for the shares of the popular eyewear-retailer, implying a downside potential of nearly 14 percent from the stock’s listing price of Rs 390 apiece. Notably, the target price is more than 16 percent lower than its IPO price.

According to the brokerage note cited by NDTV Profit, Ambit Capital said that Lenskart’s made-to-order model is capex-heavy, which keeps returns muted. It expects FCF turning positive only in FY28E.

What Piyush Goyal said?

Speaking at the Indo-US Business Summit in New Delhi, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/govt-working-to-boost-investment-in-india-boost-fdi-and-fii-piyush-goyal-13683629.html">Goyal said "good news" on the proposed India–US trade agreement</a> can be expected once the two sides arrive at a deal that is fair, equitable and balanced.

"Negotiation is a process and India as a nation has to secure the interest of its stakeholders and balance it with our sensitivities - our farmers, fishermen, small industry. You will hear good news once the deal becomes fair, equitable and balanced," he said.

The minister further said he doesn't consider there to be a hiatus in India-US relations. "It continues to be very important and strategic for both countries. We have just signed the 10-year defence pact with the department of war of the US. A partnership which is as comprehensive as the US-India relationship has many elements and every element need not run at the same speed," he said adding that sometimes there is some bickering in every family.

"The story of Indo-American partnership can best be described as two trusted partners working together for the shared prosperity for not just the two countries, but for the entire world. In fact we have just signed a major LPG agreement for importing 2.2 million tons per annum from them. So it is an ongoing partnership," he said.

US President Donald Trump has also reiterated his claim several times that India and US are nearing a trade deal.

Why are shrimp stocks rallying?

Additionally, China notified Japan that it will ban all imports of Japanese seafood, Kyodo news agency and NHK reported on Wednesday. This comes as relations between Beijing and Tokyo deteriorated over Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's comments on Taiwan.

Indian shrimp-feed companies also export products to China. Hence, the ban on Japanese seafood may have increased expectations of higher demand in China, boosting the stocks.

The minister further said he doesn't consider there to be a hiatus in India-US relations. &quot;It continues to be very important and strategic for both countries. We have just signed the 10-year defence pact with the department of war of the US. A partnership which is as comprehensive as the US-India relationship has many elements and every element need not run at the same speed,&quot; he said adding that sometimes there is some bickering in every family.

&quot;The story of Indo-American partnership can best be described as two trusted partners working together for the shared prosperity for not just the two countries, but for the entire world. In fact we have just signed a major LPG agreement for importing 2.2 million tons per annum from them. So it is an ongoing partnership,&quot; he said.

US President Donald Trump has also reiterated his claim several times that India and US are nearing a trade deal.

Why are shrimp stocks rallying?

The shares of these export-oriented companies had significantly declined earlier after the Trump administration increased tariffs on Indian imports to a whopping 50 percent, citing New Delhi's continued purchase of Russian oil. However, the rising expectations of India and US finalising on the trade deal boosted the export-oriented shrimp stocks, who derive a significant portion of their revenue from the American market.

Additionally, China notified Japan that it will ban all imports of Japanese seafood, Kyodo news agency and NHK reported on Wednesday. This comes as relations between Beijing and Tokyo deteriorated over Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's comments on Taiwan.

Indian shrimp-feed companies also export products to China. Hence, the ban on Japanese seafood may have increased expectations of higher demand in China, boosting the stocks.

The shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/power-transmissionequipment/kecinternational/KEC04">KEC International</a> dropped more than 7 percent on November 19 after Power Grid debarred the firm from participating in its new tenders and being awarded contracts for a period of nine months.

The stock was trading in the red at Rs 724.70 apiece in the morning trading hours of Wednesday, snapping a two-day gaining streak.

'Alleged transgression of contractual provisions':

In an exchange filing released in the post-market hours of November 18, KEC International said that the <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/power-generationdistribution/powergridcorporationindia/PGC">Power Grid Corporation of India</a> debarred the company from taking fresh tenders or contracts due to "alleged transgression of contractual provisions".

The company explained that this was in relation to an event already disclosed to exchanges earlier in March. On March 24, it said that exchanges have sought clarification with respect to a news article captioned 'CBI Arrests Power Grid Corporation GM &amp; KEC International Executives in Rs. 2.5 Lakh Bribery Scandal'.

What CBI had said:

The CBI had said that it has received information that Power Grid Senior General Manager Uday Kumar and several executives of KEC International participated in the giving and taking of undue favours to process and pass bills related to Power Grid's contracts awarded to KEC International.

'Exclusion won't affect any of KEC's existing projects from Power Grid':

In the latest exchange filing, KEC International announced that the said exclusion will not affect any of its existing projects from Power Grid which are under execution. "The Company is examining various options available to it including legal recourse/approaching PGCIL for reconsideration of the above," it said.

KEC International added that it does not expect any significant impact on its operations and financial position, considering its strong order book and tender pipeline. “KEC International Limited upholds the highest standards of corporate governance, ethics, and compliance in all its operations and conducts its business with integrity, transparency, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations,” it said.
