The shares of <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/bselimited/B08">Bombay Stock Exchange</a> (BSE) jumped more than 6 percent to hit a fresh record high on February 10 after the company reported strong results for the October-December quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026.

The shares of the stock exchange hit a new 52-week high of Rs 3,178.40 apiece in the morning trading hours of Tuesday. This came after the company released its Q3 earnings in the post-market hours of Monday.
<h3>BSE Q3 Results:</h3>
BSE on February 9 reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 601.81 crore for the third quarter of FY26. This marks a 174 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise from the Rs 219.67 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose around 62 percent YoY to Rs 1,244.10 crore during the quarter under review. Net profit margin improved to 45 percent in Q3 FY26, from 26 percent in Q3 FY25.
<h3>Jefferies on BSE:</h3>
Jefferies hiked its target price for BSE shares to Rs 3,050 apiece, while maintaining its ‘Hold’ call. This implies an upside potential of more than 2 percent from the stock’s previous closing price of Rs 2,985.10 apiece.

The international brokerage said that the company’s net profit was 5 percent above its estimate, driven by 5 percent higher top line growth.

Marginally better opex ex-core SGF, adjusted for one-off labour code impact, it said. Jefferies raised FY26–28 EPS estimates by 4-7 percent, factoring in earlier-than-expected Sensex share gains.

The international brokerage sees near-term market growth supported by market share gains. However, it highlighted that there is lack of visibility on new products, which may constrain growth beyond FY29.
<h3>Nuvama on BSE:</h3>
Nuvama kept a ‘Buy’ call on the stock, but raised its target price to Rs 3,760 apiece, which implies an upside potential of nearly 26 percent over the stock’s previous closing price.

The international brokerage said that BSE’s strong operating leverage lifted EBITDA margin by 443 bps YoY to 60.8 percent. It added that the firm’s strong net profit growth was driven by strong other income.

Nuvama raised FY26/27/28 EPS estimates by 8.2 percent/21.9 percent/21.1 percent.
<h3>Motilal Oswal on BSE:</h3>
Motilal Oswal kept a ‘Neutral’ rating on the stock, but increased its target price to Rs 3,350 apiece. The domestic brokerage said that the stock exchange saw strong revenue growth, driven by F&amp;O momentum.

“We raise our earnings estimates by 5%/15%/13% for FY26/FY27/FY28, factoring in higher volume assumptions for the derivatives options segment based on the Jan’26 run rate offset by lower colocation revenues and a higher expense growth trajectory,” it said.
<h3>HDFC Securities on BSE:</h3>
HDFC Securities said that BSE delivered a strong quarter, led by sustained traction in transaction revenue and strong book building and listing fees.

“We raise EPS estimates by 8-10% on better volumes, projecting robust FY25–28E revenue/EPS CAGRs of ~30/36%. We maintain an ADD rating with a revised TP of INR 3,310, based on 42x core FY28E PAT plus CDSL stake and net cash ex SGF; the stock trades at 43x/37x FY27/28E EPS,” it said.

Marico

The company’s subsidiary, Marico South East Asia Corporation (MSEA), has entered into definitive agreements to make a strategic investment in Vietnam-incorporated Skinetiq Joint Stock Company. Skinetiq owns the digital-first, science-backed skincare brand Candid and also holds exclusive distribution rights in Vietnam for the luxury clinical skincare brand Murad.

As part of the strategic investment, MSEA will acquire a 75 percent stake in Skinetiq from its existing shareholders for Rs 261.6 crore. Upon completion of the acquisition, Skinetiq will become a subsidiary of MSEA and, consequently, a subsidiary of the company.

RailTel Corporation of India

The company has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from West Central Railway for a project worth Rs 454.94 crore.
