The shares of pharma companies rose on November 25, pushing the Nifty Pharma index into the green to snap a three-session losing streak. Lupin shares were the top gainer on the index on bullish brokerage note from Jefferies.

Lupin shares rose more than 2 percent to trade at Rs 2,047 apiece. <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/glenmarkpharma/GP08">Glenmark Pharmaceuticals</a>, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/aurobindopharma/AP">Aurobindo Pharma</a> shares followed, rising nearly 2 percent each.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/cipla/C">Cipla</a> shares rose more than 1 percent. IPCA Laboratories, Zydus Lifesciences and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/torrentpharmaceuticals/TP06">Torrent Pharmaceuticals</a> shares gained nearly 1 percent each, while JB Chemicals &amp; Pharmaceuticals, Mankind Pharma, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/sunpharmaceuticalindustries/SPI">Sun Pharmaceutical Industries</a>, Laurus Labs, Divi's Laboratories and Ajanta Pharma shares were meanwhile trading in the green with marginal gains.

Bucking the trend, Alkem Laboratories, Biocon, Piramal Pharma, Abbott India, Gland Pharma and Wockhardt shares fell up to 1 percent.
<h3><strong>Jefferies on Lupin:</strong></h3>
Jefferies reiterated its 'Buy' call on Lupin shares with a target price of Rs 2,300 per share. This implies an upside potential of more than 15 percent from the stock’s previous closing price.

The international brokerage called <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/lupin/L">Lupin</a>'s guidance of fiscal year 2026, which is US revenue of $1 billion and EBITDA margin expectations of 25-26 percent, as 'strong'. It further said that biosimilars segment is likely to be the next big growth engine for the company.

Lupin shares have gained nearly 7 percent in the past one month, and over 3 percent in the past six months. The stock is however down more than 13 percent in 2025 so far, after rallying around 130 percent in the past five years.

The stock's P/E ratio currently stands at over 24.
<h3><strong>Dr. Reddy's gets European Commission’s nod for biosimilar of Prolia and Xgeva:</strong></h3>
<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/pharmaceuticals/drreddyslaboratories/DRL">Dr. Reddy's Laboratories</a> shares rose more than 1 percent after the company announced that the European Commission (EC) has granted marketing authorization for AVT03, a biosimilar of Prolia (denosumab) and Xgeva (denosumab).

Biosimilars are copies of costlier biological drugs used to treat major illnesses.

Prolia s a prescription medicine which is used to treat osteoporosis in women post menopause and in men who are at increased risk of fractures. Xgeva meanwhile is a prescription medicine which is used to prevent bone complications in adults with advanced cancer involving bone.

"In May 2024, Dr. Reddy's and Alvotech entered into a license and supply agreement for the commercialization of AVT03. Under the agreement, Alvotech will develop and manufacture AVT03, while Dr. Reddy's is responsible for registration and commercialization in applicable markets, including the U.S. and Europe. Dr. Reddy’s commercialization rights are exclusive for the U.S., and semi-exclusive for Europe and the UK. Upon approval Dr. Reddy's will offer the biosimilar under the tradenames Acvybra (denosumab) 60 mg/mL solution for injection in a pre-filled syringe and Xbonzy (denosumab) 70 mg/mL solution for injection in a vial," the company said.

Dr. Reddy's shares have fallen more than 3 percent in the past one month, but made marginal gains in the past six months. The stock is down more than 9 percent in 2025 so far, after rising 29 percent in the past five years.

The Nifty Realty index rose more than 1 percent in the morning trading hours of Tuesday to 898, as seen at 10.50 am, emerging as the top sectoral gainer on the market today.
<h3><strong>Why are real estate stocks rising today?</strong></h3>
This comes after Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Sanjay Malhotra said  there is scope to further reduce policy interest rates. "At the last MPC meeting in October, it was communicated clearly there is room to cut policy rates. Since then, the macro-economic data we have received has not indicated that the room to lower rates has decreased. There is certainly room (to lower rates) but whether the MPC takes a call on that in the coming meeting or not, depends on the committee," he said during an interview with Zee Business.

A rate cut by the Indian central bank is believed to reduce home loan EMIs, which in turn spurs demand and boosts real estate stocks.
<h3><strong>Top gainers on the realty index today:</strong></h3>
Anant Raj and Phoenix Mills shares were the top gainers on the index, rising more than 3 percent each. Prestige Estates shares were up around 2 percent, while Brigade Enterprises shares rose over 1 percent.

Sobha, Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, DLF and Macrotech Developers (Lodha) shares rose nearly 1 percent each.
<h3><strong>Here's what analysts say:</strong></h3>
The sectoral index has dropped more than 6 percent over the past five sessions. Analysts however noted that the real estate stocks fell not because the sector had weakened, but because valuations simply ran too far ahead of fundamentals.

The correction seen during the past five sessions was a "healthy reset" and not a structural reversal, said Shiv Garg, Director at Forteasia Realty. "Demand, bookings, and pricing power remain intact, but stock prices needed to cool. Once Q4 numbers confirm cash-flow strength and pre-sales momentum, selective names will reclaim leadership," he added.

Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services, also had noted that the long-term outlook of the sector remains intact. "Supported by urbanisation, infrastructure growth and evolving consumer base, the realty sector continues to be a vital economic pillar," he said.

The recent correction also mirrors concerns around stretched affordability in key micro-markets and a slower pick-up in premium housing, which had driven much of the sector's rerating, said Yash Chauhan, Research Analyst at INVasset PMS, who also noted that this does not indicate a structural reversal as underlying demand indicators such as urban incomes, job additions and rental yields remain supportive.

Shravan Shetty, Managing Director at Primus Partners, expects the stocks to sharply rise if budget and government reforms help increase economic growth and sales pick up. "There still remains a risk with the affordable segment not seeing a pickup and household debt rising," he said.

While near-term volatility persists, structural demand in metros and positive financial discipline among developers indicate a positive outlook into FY26, despite recent corrections and affordability concerns, said Khushi Mistry, Research Analyst at Bonanza. This suggests caution but underlying resilience in the sector, she added.

The stock has now snapped a two-session losing streak.

Siemens Energy India released its results in the post-market hours of November 24. The stock was trading at Rs 3,294 apiece in the morning of Tuesday.
<h3><strong>Siemens Energy India Q4 results:</strong></h3>
The company reported a net profit of Rs 359.6 crore for the fourth quarter of the year which ended on September 30. This marks a 31 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 273.7 crore net profit reported in the same period of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations rose more than 27 percent YoY to Rs 2,645.7 crore, while expenses grew over 28.5 percent YoY to Rs 2,204 crore during the quarter under review. Order backlog meanwhile rose 47 percent to Rs 16,205 crore. The company said that new orders were stable at Rs 2,351 crore.

“The orders were stable in Q4 FY2025 due to the advancement of orders into Q3 FY2025, which is also evident in the 47% increase in Order Backlog as of September 2025 compared to September 2024. The profit margin was impacted by change in revenue mix with a higher share of Project business,” Siemens Energy India said.
<h3><strong>Siemens Energy announces dividend:</strong></h3>
Along with the Q4 results, Siemens Energy India also announced a dividend of Rs 4 per equity share for the financial year which ended on September 30 this year. If declared at the upcoming second Annual General Meeting (AGM), the dividend will then be paid from February 18. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment is yet to be announced.

Siemens Energy India said that its key achievement during the financial year which ended in September was the “successful demerger of Siemens Limited’s Energy Business into SEIL and subsequent listing of SEIL on BSE and NSE”. “This created a pure play energy technology company in India that operates across the entire energy value chain, offering customers greater focus and agility, while unlocking shareholder value,” it said.
<h3><strong>Siemens Energy listing:</strong></h3>
Siemens Energy, the power transmission and distribution (T&amp;D) business that was demerged from Siemens, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/markets/siemens-energy-set-to-debut-bourses-today-what-should-you-expect-13143657.html">listed on the NSE at Rs 2,840 per share on June 19</a>. Its equity shares listed above the price on the demerger date which was Rs 2,350 apiece.

<h3><strong>Siemens Energy share price history:</strong></h3>
After listing at Rs 2,840 on NSE in June, the stock fell nearly 12 percent to a low of Rs 2,508.8 in the same month. The stock then rapidly gained nearly 45 percent in around three months to hit a high of Rs 3,625 apiece.

The shares of the company have fallen 9 percent since then. Today's sharp gains come after the stock dropped more than 5 percent yesterday. The company currently has a market capitalization of nearly Rs 1.15 lakh crore.

Siemens Energy India shares jump up to 4% after Q4 net profit rises 31% to Rs 360 crore; firm announces Rs 4 dividend

The shares of Siemens Energy India jumped more than 4 percent in the early trading hours of November 25 after the company released its results for the July-September quarter. The stock has now snapped a two-session losing streak.

Siemens Energy India released its results in the post-market hours of November 24. The stock was trading at Rs 3,294 apiece in the morning of Tuesday.
Siemens Energy India Q4 results:
The company reported a net profit of Rs 359.6 crore for the fourth quarter of the year which ended on September 30. This marks a 31 percent year-on-year rise from the Rs 273.7 crore net profit reported in the same period of the previous financial year.

The firm’s revenue from operations rose more than 27 percent YoY to Rs 2,645.7 crore, while expenses grew over 28.5 percent YoY to Rs 2,204 crore during the quarter under review. Order backlog meanwhile rose 47 percent to Rs 16,205 crore. The company said that new orders were stable at Rs 2,351 crore.

“The orders were stable in Q4 FY2025 due to the advancement of orders into Q3 FY2025, which is also evident in the 47% increase in Order Backlog as of September 2025 compared to September 2024. The profit margin was impacted by change in revenue mix with a higher share of Project business,” Siemens Energy India said.
Siemens Energy announces dividend:
Along with the Q4 results, Siemens Energy India also announced a dividend of Rs 4 per equity share for the financial year which ended on September 30 this year. If declared at the upcoming second Annual General Meeting (AGM), the dividend will then be paid from February 18. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment is yet to be announced.

Siemens Energy India said that its key achievement during the financial year which ended in September was the “successful demerger of Siemens Limited’s Energy Business into SEIL and subsequent listing of SEIL on BSE and NSE”. “This created a pure play energy technology company in India that operates across the entire energy value chain, offering customers greater focus and agility, while unlocking shareholder value,” it said.

Siemens Energy, the power transmission and distribution (T&amp;amp;D) business that was demerged from Siemens, listed on the NSE at Rs 2,840 per share on June 19. Its equity shares listed above the price on the demerger date which was Rs 2,350 apiece.
