The consolidated total income for the quarter under review went up to Rs 540 crore, from Rs 443 crore registered in the same quarter of the last financial year.

For the April-December 2025 period, the total income soared to Rs 1,548 crore, from Rs 1,281 crore recorded in the same period of the last financial year.

Commenting on the financial performance, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/hospitalhealthcare-services/dragarwalshealthcare/DAH">Dr Agarwal's Health Care</a> Ltd, CEO Dr Adil Agarwal said, "The company delivered a strong performance in Q3 marked by robust growth across revenues and profitability, reflecting sustained execution momentum.

For the quarter ended December 2025, revenue from operations grew by 23 percent year-on-year to Rs 530 crore, driven by healthy patient volumes, strong traction across mature centres, and improving contribution from newer facilities." The EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation) increased by 21.3 per cent to Rs 155 crore, underscoring the resilience of the operating model and disciplined cost management, he said.

"The company remains focused on accelerating organic growth through aggressive greenfield expansion, deepening its presence in existing markets while selectively entering new geographies," he said.

IT major Cognizant Technology Solutions plans to hire about 24,000 to 25,000 fresh graduates in 2026, pacing up campus recruitment as artificial intelligence-led delivery models improve productivity at the entry level.

The planned intake represents an increase of about 20 percent over 2025, when Cognizant hired close to 20,000 freshers. Of those, around 16,000 are already deployed on client work, while about 4,000 are currently undergoing training.

“We hired close to 20,000 school graduates in 2025… For next year we plan to increase this by about 20%. So we, we would be very happy to land around 240000-25000 for 2026,” CFO Jatin Dalal said while addressing a press conference after declaring the latest quarterly results.

Contrary to the widespread discussion on AI-led job losses, the management said that higher fresher intake is being supported by rising productivity at the bottom of the pyramid, enabled by greater use of AI tools, agentic software, and automation in delivery.

“So our thesis is as we continue on our partnerships with Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI, Microsoft, and all the AI platforms, you will notice that the value can be drifted to the bottom, distributed, and we can have a broader pyramid,” Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar said in the conference.

The December quarter profit was impacted by a one-time charge of Rs 26.11 crore related to the implementation of new labour laws in India.

Revenue from operations increased 16 percent to Rs 5,259 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 4,535 crore in the year-ago period, Trent Ltd said in a regulatory filing.

The consumer spending improved during the quarter, aided by a reduction in GST rates, which resulted in higher disposable income.

Trent Ltd Chairman Noel N Tata said the company’s fashion business recorded category-leading growth despite a higher base.

Customer sentiment is gradually improving and the medium-term business outlook remains positive, he said, adding that the company remains focused on building a large direct-to-consumer business across segments.

On the Star business, Tata said the contribution of in-house brands has risen to over 74 percent of revenues. He noted that store expansion has been slower than expected and efforts are underway to accelerate the rollout in the coming quarters.

During the quarter, the company opened 17 Westside and 48 Zudio stores, including one Zudio store in the UAE.

As of December 31, 2025, Trent operated 278 Westside stores, 854 Zudio stores, including four in the UAE, and 32 stores across other lifestyle concepts. The company’s total retail footprint stood at over 15 million square feet across fashion brands.

Staffing firm <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/miscellaneous/teamleaseservices/TS13">TeamLease Services</a> reported a nearly 47% surge in third-quarter profit on February 4, driven by demand from global capability centres (GCC) for specialised staff.

Its consolidated net profit rose to Rs 42 crore for the three months ended December 2025, from Rs 28.5 crore a year earlier.

Its shares jumped as much as 11.8% after the results, and closed up 3% at Rs 1,473 apiece.

GCCs, which are Indian hubs of international firms, require software, finance, and R&amp;D personnel for their operations. These hubs currently employ more than 1.9 million people, according to government data, and are expanding their workforce.

The company's revenue from the specialised staffing division, its second-largest vertical, rose 32.5%, lifting total revenue by about 3% to Rs 3,013 crore.

Revenue from the general staffing business, which contributes to over 90% of the total, rose 1.2% and was impacted by insourcing by a client in the banking and financial services division, the company said. The general staffing vertical provides contractual roles across non-IT sectors, including manufacturing, retail and telecom.

"Despite general slowness in the economy, our new logo acquisition is stable, including the GCC wins...Full impact of BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) headcount loss will be absorbed by Q1FY27," Managing Director Ashok Reddy said in a statement.

Last week, peer Quess Corp reported a 32% quarterly profit growth.

Analysts previously said that staffing firms will benefit in the medium to long term from new labour codes, as simplified compliance norms will help reduce administration costs and could lead to more formalisation of India's workforce, leading to increased business.

TeamLease said its profit for the period was not impacted as the impact of the changes in labour codes for billable employees is recoverable from customers and doesn't impact its bottom line.
