TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION

By registering for the Traders Carnival 2021- Virtual Event (“Virtual Event”) you (“you/your/Participant”) agree to the below mentioned terms and conditions. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them.

This Traders Carnival 2021 Virtual Event as well as the Offline Event is being organised and hosted by Traders Carnival (‘Organiser’).

e-Eighteen.Com Limited (“Moneycontrol”) reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at anytime, which are subjected to the Terms of Use as available on https://www.moneycontrol.com/cdata/termsofuse.php website. The Participant shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.

1. Rules of Participation

1.1 Access. Your payment and registration entitles you to access the Virtual Event for which you have registered.

1.2 Virtual Event Content. The Virtual Event content/sessions will be live streamed by Moneycontrol at https://www.moneycontrol.com/traders-carnival and such content/session shall also be recorded by Moneycontrol which will be available on https://www.moneycontrol.com/traders-carnival (Platform). The recorded version of the Virtual Event content/session shall only be available for a period of 3 (three) months from the date it was live streamed on the Platform. Some of the sessions/ activities conducted at the Traders Carnival 2021 on ground event venue (Offline Event) may not be covered in the Virtual Event and the same will be displayed at the discretion of the Organiser of the Virtual Event.

1.3 Registration Process. The Participants are to register separately for the Online and Offline Event. To attend the Virtual (Online) Event, users will have to register here - http://moneycontrol.com/traders-carnival#tickets_sec

1.4 Moneycontrol shall not be liable to consider any registration which has not been received in the system of the Organiser/s. No claims or objections shall be entertained in this regard.

1.5 Responses of Participants, or materials sent during or post the event by the Participants to Moneycontrol including feedback and other communications of any kind shall be deemed to be non-confidential. Moneycontrol is free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display participants, feedback without limitations or obligation of any kind. Moneycontrol is also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such feedback for any purpose. Moneycontrol reserves the right to analyze and summarize data that we collect and also reserves the right to publish, distribute, share summaries of the data collected with sponsors or other business partners without limitations or obligations of any kind.

1.6 Nothing here in amounts to a commitment or representation by Moneycontrol to conduct further or other schemes/events.

1.7 The management of Moneycontrol & its subsidiaries/group companies reserve the right to cancel / postpone /stop this Contest at its discretion or change all or any part of terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation of any kind and being liable for any consequential losses/damages.

1.8 The Participants are to maintain decorum and shall take due precautions as per the COVID-19 Guidelines issued by the Government. Moneycontrol shall not be held liable to any authorities and Participants for any form of compensation due to the violation of COVID-19 rules by the Participants.

2. Prohibited Conduct

2.1 Limitations on Use. By registering for Traders Carnival 2021 Virtual Event you agree not to sell, trade, transfer or share your access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by Moneycontrol and/or the Organiser. By registering for the Virtual Event, you agree not to share, sell or trade your access to any third party. If Moneycontrol determines that you have violated this policy, Moneycontrol shall have a right to cancel your access, retain any payments made by you and ban you from future Virtual Events.

2.2 Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping. Participants will not record, upload or broadcast audio or video of sessions of the Virtual Events.

3. Fees and Registration

3.1 Payment. The Participant will have to pay the applicable fees to Moneycontrol for registering themselves for the Virtual Event. The payment of the applicable fee for the Virtual Event is due prior to registration. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, Moneycontrol shall have a right to refuse to allow you to access the Virtual Event and shall have no liability in that regard.

Moneycontrol shall accept the payment of the registration fees via cards, wallet and net banking. Other payment methods may be added from time to time.

4. Cancellation

4.1 No payments will be refunded or refundable. Please note that if you cancel and/or do not access the Virtual Event, you are still responsible for payment. In no event shall Moneycontrol be obligated to refund all or any portion of the registration fee.

5. Virtual Event Registration Confirmation

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure that your valid email id is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box too in case any of your Virtual Event email(s) are caught by spam filters.

The time and date of the Virtual Event may vary due to internet connectivity issues. In this case, Moneycontrol will share the revised date and/or timing at the earliest. There may be interruptions in the streaming of the Virtual Event due to internet connectivity issues.

When you register yourself for the Virtual Event you provide us with certain personal data/information which we shall share with the Organisers for the Virtual Event related communications and also for the Organisers and/or Moneycontrol for future prospecting, to contact you for future business engagement, to send marketing and/or promotional materials about their respective services and products etc. from time to time (‘Purpose’). It is clarified that you are giving your express consent to Moneycontrol and the Organiser for the using your personal data/information for the abovementioned Purpose.

If you do not wish for Moneycontrol and/or Organiser to continue using your personal data/information, and/or disclose your personal data/information for the Purpose at any time, you may opt out of providing the same by contacting Moneycontrol at https://www.moneycontrol.com/cdata/contact.php and Organiser at https://www.traderscarnival.com/contact/.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability

The views, opinions and comments expressed by the individual speakers, attendees or sponsors at the Virtual Event ("Speaker(s)"), either in course of their participation in the Virtual Event, or on the Platform, online or offline or otherwise (collectively, "Channels"), are solely their own and neither do they represent those of Moneycontrol nor are they endorsed in any manner by Moneycontrol, its employees, associates and affiliates.

Speaker(s) at all times remain fully and solely liable and responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments. Moneycontrol will not be responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments, and any claims, damages, outrage arising due to the comments, views or opinions by the Speaker(s) and/or any audio and/or video uploaded in the Channels.

Moneycontrol makes no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timelines, suitability, or validity of any information presented by speakers, attendees or sponsors at the Virtual Event and will not be liable for any errors, omissions or delays in this information or any losses, injuries or damages arising from its display or use.

To the extent permitted by law, Moneycontrol or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of Moneycontrol or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by & construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Any dispute including any dispute arising out of all matters with respect to the Contest are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Mumbai only.

Additionally, Moneycontrol shall not be held liable or responsible for any violation of intellectual property rights that may arise out of any Speaker(s) participations, performance, comments, views or opinions. To the extent permitted by law, Moneycontrol or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of Moneycontrol or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by & construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. In the event of any conflict, the Terms and Conditions specifically provided for this event shall supersede over the generic Terms of Use as available on the Moneycontrol website. Any dispute including any dispute arising out of all matters with respect to the Contest are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Mumbai only.

Moneycontrol does not endorse, and expressly disclaims all liability relating to, any of the products or services provided by speakers, attendees, or sponsors.
