Frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, is a condition commonly  seen in adults over forty years

It involves pain and stiffness of the shoulder joint, thus restricting movements of the arm

Gradual onset and progression

It often begins gradually and may progressivley become worse over  a period of time

Recovery takes one to three years

Night pain and stiffness worsen
