He is having more than 15 years of experience in the Commodity Exchange Ecosystem. Presently stationed at Chennai heading South & Central India for Business Development of MCX Mr. Muthappa has been a Director in Safal National Exchange of India Ltd and Head of Business Development in Bahrain foreign exchange (BFX) During his earlier tenure he was with corporates like Hindustan Unilever ltd and ICICI General Insurance in various positions. Mr. Muthappa has played an integral part in developing India's 2 largest broking firms Zerodha and Way to wealth in the Commodities basket and is responsible for 18-20% of present MCX's Total Volumes. He has also inculcated hedging mechanisms among several corporates including Titan Industries and has worked closely with numerous Associations for Metals and Agricultural Commodities.
