Trump says Israel, Iran 'don't know what the f**k they're doing': Watch

An angry US President Donald Trump berated Iran and Israel on Tuesday for violating a ceasefire deal, and added that he was "really unhappy" with Israel in particular.

Trump said that the two countries have been "fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f**k they're doing, do you understand that?"

The US president let out the expletive while talking to reporters at the White House, hours after he had said a ceasefire between the two arch-foes had taken effect.

Speaking to reporters before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump said Israel "unloaded" right after agreeing to the deal. He also said Iran's nuclear capabilities are gone.

Talking abut the Iran-Israel ceasefire violations, Trump said, "I think they both did it. I don't think they did it intentionally. They could not rein people back. I don't like the fact that Israel went out this morning. I will see if I can stop it."

"I didn't like that Israel unloaded right after we made the deal. They didn't have to unload. I didn't like the fact that retaliation was very strong. In all fairness, Israel unloaded a lot. Now, I hear that Israel just went because they felt violated about one rocket that did not land anywhere. That's not what we want and I am telling you, I am not happy about Israel either," he added.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz had said he had ordered the military to mount new strikes on targets in Tehran in response to what he said were Iranian missiles fired in a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire.

Iran denied launching any missiles and said Israel's attacks had continued for an hour and a half beyond the time the ceasefire was meant to start.

Trump had announced the ceasefire earlier on Tuesday with a post on Truth Social: "THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!"

Later in the day, Trump told reporters Israel launched its strikes almost immediately after the agreement was reached.
