Just ahead of his White House meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, US President Donald Trump on Monday asserted once again that he has effectively managed global conflicts, including the Russia–Ukraine war. Trump claimed that he has “settled 6 wars in 6 months, one of them a possible Nuclear disaster,” adding that he is “only here to stop it, not to prosecute it further.”

In the post, he criticised media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal and seasoned foreign policy experts, calling them “STUPID” and accusing them of lacking “common sense, intelligence, or understanding,” while asserting that they have “only made the current R/U disaster more difficult to FIX.” He concluded by reaffirming his confidence: “Despite all of my lightweight and very jealous critics, I’ll get it done — I always do!!!”

Notably, Trump also repeated his long-standing claim of having stopped the war between India and Pakistan -- a statement he has made more than 30 times over the past three months. New Delhi has consistently rejected this assertion, emphasising that Trump had no role in resolving the Indo-Pakistan conflict.

"I’ve settled 6 Wars in 6 months, one of them a possible Nuclear disaster, and yet I have to read & listen to the Wall Street Journal, and many other who truly don’t have a clue, tell me everything that I am doing wrong on the Russia/Ukraine MESS, that is Sleepy Joe Biden’s war, not mine. I’m only here to stop it, not to prosecute it any further. It would have NEVER happened if I was President," the post by Trump read.
