According to a new Green City Index from Reinders Corporation, cities were ranked on green spaces, renewable energy, air quality, transport, bike-friendliness and tourism policies that support both people and the planet.

Vancouver tops the list thanks to abundant green spaces, clean hydropower, excellent public transport and strong urban planning that balances nature, liveability and tourism growth.
