The Char Dham Yatra 2025 begins on April 30 with the reopening of Yamunotri and Gangotri on Akshay Tritiya. This sacred journey covers four holy sites—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—in Uttarakhand.

Best Time to Visit Char Dham Yatra

The best time for Char Dham Yatra is from April to June and September to October. Avoid July and August due to monsoon-related risks like landslides and slippery trekking paths.

Registration is mandatory. Visit Char Dham Yatra Portal registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in, sign up with ID proof, choose dates and shrines, and download the Yatra E-Pass.
