Vivo X200 series launched with a new 200MP Zeiss camera and Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor: Price, features and more

Vivo X200 series launched in China.

Vivo has finally unveiled its most powerful smartphone series of 2024 – the X200 series, in China. The X200 series comprises three models — X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro mini. The mini version is a first for the X-series lineup. In terms of features, the X200 Pro and Pro mini are powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset that’s clocked at 2.62GHz and comes with Cortex-Z924 super core.

VIvo has always touted the X series phones as a camera powerhouse and the X200 series is no different. The entire lineup gets the Zeiss-tuned optics and the X200 Pro and Pro mini features a triple rear camera setup featuring the all-new 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom and f/2.67 aperture. The main sensor is a Sony LYT-818 sensor and there’s a 50MP ultra-wide sensor.

In terms of display, the X200 Pro features a 6.78-inch Quad Curved LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of peak brightness. The X200 Pro mini features a relatively smaller 6.31-inch flat display. The vanilla version comes with a 6.67-inch quad-curved display.

All three variants have a maximum RAM capacity of 16GB and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The X200 Pro models also come with satellite communication features and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM.

Vivo has also updated the battery capacity of the X200 series phones with the X200 Pro is backed by a 6000mAh battery, the X200 Pro mini features a 5700mAh battery and the X200 comes equipped with a 5800mAh battery. All three models support 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

Pre-orders for all three models are now live in China and the phone is expected to become available October 19 onwards.

Vivo X200 series India launch
Vivo X200 series will come to India as the company has been launching the X series phones every year.  Traditionally, Vivo launches the X series at the end of the year and we are expecting that to happen with the X200 series as well.
