Choose an open area with minimal light pollution for a clear, unobstructed view. Rooftops or open fields work well.
A stable base eliminates blur caused by hand movement in low light.
The moon is too far for flash to help. It only lights up unwanted foreground elements.
Manually tap on the moon in your viewfinder to keep it sharp and in focus.
High Dynamic Range improves detail and contrast in moonlit scenes.
A 10-second delay prevents shakes when pressing the shutter button.
Use optical zoom if available, or a clip-on telephoto lens for better close-ups.
More pixels mean sharper images and better editing flexibility.
Lower brightness to prevent overexposing the moon’s surface.
Use light editing to enhance sharpness, contrast, and colour without overdoing it.
