Krafton India has formally become the publisher of Real Cricket, one of the country’s biggest homegrown mobile gaming franchises. The shift comes as part of Krafton’s deeper integration with Nautilus Mobile, the Pune-based studio behind the game. The update reflecting this transition will go live tomorrow, signalling the start of a new phase for the cricket title and its large community of players. This move builds on Krafton’s majority acquisition of Nautilus Mobile in March 2025, a deal that strengthened its commitment to expanding India-focused gaming experiences.
The partnership and roadmapReal Cricket has long been among India’s most popular cricket simulation games, and the latest step places Krafton at the helm of publishing responsibilities while Nautilus continues leading development. The companies aim to use their combined strengths — Krafton’s global publishing expertise and Nautilus’ decade of cricket game development — to advance the franchise and grow its reach across India and select international markets.
Krafton plans to enhance in-game systems, improve live operations, and create more community-driven experiences. The long-term roadmap includes expanded competitive formats, evolving events, and broader engagement features intended to sync with cricket’s biggest seasons. The goal is to build a more connected experience that keeps players engaged throughout the year.
New features in the latest updateThe new version introduces two major systems that will shape the player experience from the beginning. The RC Pass is a 30-day progression system offering challenges and exclusive rewards, while the Real Rewards T20 Series allows players to convert in-game performance into real-world prizes through leaderboard ranks.
Players will also find visual upgrades, refreshed animations, a new interface, and updated Hindi commentary. Several IPL franchises — including Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Punjab Kings — are officially licensed in the game, with additional teams planned later.
Krafton says the move strengthens its broader Make-in-India ambitions, supporting Indian studios and gaming IPs with potential to scale globally. Real Cricket now sits at the centre of this strategy, with both teams preparing new tournaments, community features, and expanded content drops in the coming months.
