iQOO has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, will launch in India this November. The announcement was made by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on X (formerly Twitter). While the exact launch date in India is yet to be revealed, the phone will first make its debut in China on October 20.

The company has already teased some key features of the iQOO 15, confirming that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box and promises several upgrades over its predecessor. Notably, it will support 144fps gameplay at 2K resolution and introduce a new Q3 gaming chip for smoother performance.

The India variant is expected to share most of its specifications with the Chinese model. It will likely feature a 6.8-inch 2K Samsung Everest OLED display with M14 light-emitting material, a 144Hz refresh rate, 6000 nits peak brightness, and a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. These upgrades are aimed at providing a more immersive gaming and multimedia experience.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will be paired with the Q3 e-sports chip, which promises improved frame stability, lower power consumption, and support for full-scenario ray tracing in compatible games, making graphics look more realistic.
