HMD Global, the Finnish smartphone maker, is set to launch its latest budget smartphone HMD Atlas globally. The upcoming smartphone was leaked on social media platform X by user smashx_60, and it’s expected to be the successor of the Nokia G400, which was launched in 2022.
HMD Atlas: Expected specifications, features, priceThe post on X reveals the full design of the HMD Atlas, as we can see a triple camera setup at the back, with a punch-hole display at the front. We can see the render in an Olive Green shade, but HMD is likely to bring other colour variants as well.
The Atlas is rumoured to have a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which is an octa-core chipset with a core clock speed of 2GHz. If we talk about the optics, the phone is expected to have a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a depth sensor.
Further, the leak claims that the HMD Atlas will have a 5,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. In terms of connectivity, it will have 5G connectivity, NFC support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.
The leaked post also mentions that the phone will weigh 210 grams, and will have a starting price of $239.99 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. There is no mention of the launch date in the X post, but we can expect the smartphone to launch soon globally.
