The Canon EOS R6 Mark III is built around a new 32.5MP full-frame sensor paired with improved autofocus capabilities. The upgraded Dual Pixel CMOS AF system allows users to register a person’s face, ensuring reliable subject tracking during both still and video shooting. The camera supports burst shooting speeds of up to 12fps using the mechanical shutter and up to 40fps electronically, maintaining consistency with the previous model while offering longer bursts thanks to faster data handling.

In terms of video, the EOS R6 Mark III can capture footage in up to 7K/60p RAW and 4K/120p resolution, offering flexibility for creators who require high-quality video output. The camera also introduces Canon Log 2 and custom picture profiles for better post-production control, alongside a tally lamp for clear recording indication. Canon has replaced the Micro HDMI port with a full-sized HDMI Type-A port for more robust connectivity.
