Regular updates from Google include performance improvements. Go to Settings > Help > About Google Chrome to check for updates and install them.
Too many open tabs slow down your browser. Close unused tabs or use extensions like OneTab to consolidate them and free up memory.
Over time, cached files and cookies can slow Chrome down. Use Ctrl+Shift+Delete to open the clear data window. Clear cached images, cookies, and other site data regularly.
Extensions consume system resources. Go to chrome://extensions/ and remove or disable ones you don’t use to speed up your browser.
Let your graphics card handle visual tasks like video playback. Navigate to Settings > System and turn on “Use hardware acceleration when available.”
