The Karnataka government has decided to provided ready-to-use factory spaces for the electronics sector and textile parks in state’s northern region.

“The proposed new flat-floor factory in Kalaburagi will be a significant step for the state's electronics industry, providing ready-to-use factory spaces for entrepreneurs. This will create jobs and mark the beginning of electronics manufacturing in Kalyana Karnataka,” chief minister Siddaramaiah said in Kalaburagi on September 17.

He was speaking at an event on the Kalyana Karnataka Day and the 10th anniversary of granting special status to the Hyderabad-Karnataka region.

“We are taking steps towards developing an economic corridor between Bidar and Bengaluru to boost the economic development of Kalyana Karnataka,” the CM said.
