Asus has launched a new Drop Zone initiative at select ASUS Exclusive Stores, allowing customers to drop off their laptops for repair without visiting a standalone service center. This aims to enhance accessibility and convenience.
The Drop Zone service is initially being introduced in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Coimbatore (Tirupur). Asus plans to expand it to more tier-2 and tier-3 cities in the future.
Customers visit a participating Asus Exclusive Store, drop off their laptop, and receive a job sheet after an initial assessment. Once repaired, the laptop is returned to the store for pickup.
The service currently supports in-warranty Asus laptops. Executives at the Drop Zone will perform basic diagnostics and coordinate with the main service center for deeper repairs.
Asus wants to improve after-sales support through better accessibility. With over 200 service centers, coverage in 761 districts, and 24/7 digital support, this initiative adds a convenient offline touchpoint closer to consumers.
