Apple has confirmed that its subscription-based fitness and wellness service, Apple Fitness+, will launch in India on 15 December. This marks the platform’s largest expansion since it debuted five years ago, bringing its mix of guided workouts, meditation sessions and deep Apple Watch integration to 49 additional countries and regions.
Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, said the service continues to motivate users through seamless integration across devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3. Fitness+ offers real-time metrics onscreen, personalised recommendations and the flexibility to work out anywhere.

Features like Custom Plans help build tailored weekly schedules based on preferred activities, trainers, music and duration. Apple Watch owners can view heart rate, calories burned, Activity rings progress and the Burn Bar directly during sessions, while AirPods Pro 3 users can see metrics onscreen.
