Amazon Prime Video India country director Sushant Sreeram steps down

Sushant Sreeram's exit from Prime Video comes two months after the departure of India originals chief Aparna Purohit

Sushant Sreeram joined Prime Video in 2018 as head of customer and brand marketing

Sushant Sreeram, India Country Director for Amazon's video streaming service Prime Video, is leaving the company after a six-year stint.

This departure comes two months after the exit of Aparna Purohit, Head of Originals, India and Southeast Asia, Prime Video.

Last month, Prime Video's head of Hindi originals, Nikhil Madhok, was promoted as the service's head of original content for the India market.

"I’ve witnessed our ambitions and relentless intensity not only set up the India business as one of the fastest growing in Prime Video globally, but also shape the streaming landscape of the country" Sreeram said in a LinkedIn post on July 31.
