The Asia Cup 2025 kicks off from September 9 to 28 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), featuring matches across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Originally awarded to India, the hosting rights were shifted to the UAE due to logistical and political challenges, making it a neutral venue where all teams could comfortably participate.

This edition will be played in the T20 format, aligning with preparations for the upcoming 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, and will feature eight teams—India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, along with UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong who qualified through the ACC Premier Cup.
