Rishabh Pant made his Test comeback in some style and memories.
The ongoing IND vs BAN Test in Chennai is Pant’s first international red-ball assignment post his fatal car accident.
After throwing away his wicket in the first innings due to loose footwork, Pant made quick amendments
He scored a century in the second and along with Shubman Gill helped India gain a commanding position
Pant’s feat saw him equal MS Dhoni’s record for most number of Test centuries by an Indian wicketkeeper
Both Pant and Dhoni have six centuries in total
Wriddhiman Saha is next to the two with 3 Test centuries
Pant has been dismissed on 90s in previous six occasions
Pant scored 109(128) in the 1st Test vs BAN in Chennai
Pant along with Shubhman Gill added 167 runs for fourth wicket
Gill scored an unbeaten 119, before India declared their innings
Bangladesh required 515 to win out of which they made 158/4 before Stumps on Day 3
